I LOVE 1st Hand Seconds! They were my first choice when looking for my wedding dress, and their bridal boutique did not disappoint! I ended up saying yes to the very first dress I tried on, and loved it! I am also a huge fan of their quarterly dollar sales and always find time to make it to one. The staff is amazing, and the selection is too!

Amazing selection, prices, and staff. We'll organized and a fun shopping experience! Their bridal boutique has an amazing selection and beautiful dresses for super affordable prices. Plus, the bridal boutique experience is wonderful! It's one of the few places where we were the only ones there and Darci helped me in and out of every dress with lots of helpful information about what could be altered and what couldn't. Great experience.

My Mom found this place just by calling around and I'm so glad she did. I've been looking for a bustier for my wedding dress for a few months with no luck. The two women working found me 5 to try on and were great to work with. They are personable and willing to look high and low for whatever we needed. They support great non profits and I love knowing that what I spend is going to help people. We will be back soon for sure!

I recently purchased a dress from this bridal boutique and the woman who sold it to me misrepresented the year the dress was made. In front of me, my three bridesmaids, and my two sisters, this woman told us the dress was vintage. She did not say it was "vintage look" or "1900's era style." She clearly misrepresented the dress as being from 1910. She said "the dress is in excellent condition for how old it is." I decided to purchase the dress solely because I was under the impression that this dress was authentically vintage. When I walked up to the counter to pay for the dress, the woman said, "Because this is vintage, it's $1,200." All of the other dresses were between $300-$600 because they are all second-hand. I was charged double because the dress was "vintage." However, when I brought it to my seamstress to mend all of the missing sequins and loose strings (costing me $500), she told me the dress was from a 2014 wedding dress collection. The same dress was selling online (brand new) for the price that this second-hand ministry was selling it to me. The dress was in terrible condition "for how old it is," being only 7 years old.
I emailed this company (pictured) and never received an email back. A week later, I decided to go into the store and speak to them in-person with my sister who heard what she said. They told me the founder would call me back in a week. Two weeks went by and I never received a phone call. I decided to call them back and asked to speak to the founder. When I got Deborah on the phone, she had no idea about the email (although her volunteers knew about it). She read my email and told me that the woman who sold me the dress "did not say it was vintage." The founder was not present when the sale happened, but she told me that I along with all of the women I brought with me were "mistaken." She said there is nothing she will do to make it right. This is bad business, and even worse this is supposed to be a Christian ministry. I am disappointed in these fellow Christian women and the way they do business.
