I needed a last-minute frame for my son‘s sixth grade basketball team so that they can sign it and give it to their principal who’s retiring this year who happens to be their coach. Not only did Christina, the new owner, take on my order with the ridiculous timeframe but she hand-delivered it and did an absolutely exquisite job.

I used to think that I could just buy frames from Walmart or Amazon and be happy but after receiving this frame, I don’t think I can ever go back. Thank you so much for your time and true craftsmanship on something so simple but will be a forever placement on the coach’s wall I’m sure of!

Before I go somewhere for the first time, I almost always read it's reviews on Google to see what others have experienced and if they have any helpful hints. That being said, there were only two reviews. A good one, and a not so good one. I was hesitant at first, but due to my lack of planning ahead I figured I would give it a try. And I am very glad that I did! I brought in (at the last minute) a very special item that I wanted to have framed for Mothers Day. I have been to many other framing stores from Santa Rosa all the way up to Healdsburg. Most, especially if you show up a couple days before a holiday, are backed up and not the most courteous. When I walked in I was instantly greeted with a smile by the owner of the store. He helped me figure out what would look best for what I had. Even though I came in last minute He was still able to get it done by Mothers Day. From now on I will only be taking my items that need to be framed to this store. I recommend that if you are reading this, you do the same.

I had over 200 works of art framed by this store; their work is remarkable and perfection is the name of the game. The framer, Christina, knows everything there is to know about framing; if you heed her advice, your treasures will also be perfectly framed.

I took an original Disney Cell of the Seven Dwarfs for framing. I asked Kevin, the owner if he had experience with this type of art as I knew it was very delicate and had been stored on a cardboard type mat in a closet for 70 years. He assured me he did have experience. I paid over $600.00 to have it framed.
When I got it back most of the dwarves had been damaged. Parts of them had collapsed in from cracking, apparently when they removed the cell from it’s backing.

When I tried to discuss this with Kevin he immediately got defensive and said it was probably damaged when I brought it in, which it wasn’t. And if it was wouldn’t he have pointed that out prior to taking it into his custody?

It’s so disappointing to find a seemingly reputable business person take no accountability for something that happened while this precious family treasure (my grandmother worked at Disney Studios in the 30s-50s and got this cell then) was in his care.

Had he said they might damage it when I brought it in or had they called and said it was cracking while they were removing the backing, or even owned up to it when addressed, I would not leave this type of feedback.

Be warned if you have a precious treasure that may require delicate handling that this framing shop does NOT have the appropriate experience to handle it. I found out the hard way and now have to live with the fact that this family treasure was ruined on my watch.
