I’ve been coming here for the past year. They have good deals, discounts on certain days and discounts for certain occupations too, I’ve found clothes in really good condition here and have bought clothes for work. There back store is big too with a wide selection.

Mostly good experiences, however there is one very nasty and abusive elderly lady, that brings a heavy presence over the entire store. She is always arguing and sternly speaking to everyone around her including the customers (very toxic). Sadly if she is there we just leave and come back another day. 😪

Remember that the employees here are volunteers. They devote their time to help the store, which helps our community. For one, they provide scholarships to high school students for college. They have to weed through the donations, separate the junk from the sellable things, wash, dry, hang, and price everything, on their own time. I love ❤ this store, and their reason for being here. It is also non-profit, I believe.

Leisure League thrift store has been one of my favorite thrift stores for years but under new management in recent months it has deteriorated. New lady managing this building on Walnut and she's not real friendly. She has also raised the prices too high. I noticed they ran an ad in the paper recently as they were having a huge sale with everything half price. Think it was a sidewalk sale. Anyway, they probably had to do that for the first time ever because the store was overstocked. There was so much furniture in the back room I don't know how they could have taken any more donations. And the prices were ridiculously high for furniture that was beat up, needed sanding down and refinished! Nothing selling because the prices are too high. Last 3 trips I made there I left empty handed. I can go to Walmart and buy new for less! Hope things change. And sooner rather than later. Hate to lose one of my favorite stores!

The new ladies are not very friendly. I have donated there for 20 years. I bought clothes for a foster child an she couldn't button the jeans. The lady in charge wouldn't even let me do any kind of exchange. $17.00 n all I was asking for was maybe a hat.

Today I made a big donation in Hesperia and I wasn't treated very wI'll and then I walked around the store and it was high dollar for junk and the workers wasn't very friendly. I been donating for a very long time and this is what I get not even a thank you. Very rude. I'll never donate or shop in there store again. Sad this store use to be awesome. Sad I've been going here since the 80s but no more.

They have two buildings and the first building has clothes mostly some dolls and such. The second building is mostly furniture, records, lots of misculanious, and some used electronics. The elderly people are really nice when you step in either store.
