Absolutely horrible service at the meat counter,waited nearly 10 minutes so I could buy a few things and was not acknowledged once by the staff. I truly don't understand their logic of not acknowledging their customers. Waited a little longer to no avail and wasn't able to get any service. I put my basket down and just left. Unacceptable and very unprofessional staff at the meat counter. This needs to be addressed by management. This is how businesses lose money.

After I found this grocery store, I haven’t shopped at Safeway for groceries in years!

Even though the selections are fewer, the produce is fresh and cheap.

The meat section has plenty of butchers there to help. Love the butcher shop there - oxtail and beef short ribs are excellent for soup; marinated beef, pork and chicken makes it so easy for making our own tacos at home; ground beef fabulous for burgers; and $25 more on meat gets you free 6 pack of soda or small bag of corn tortillas.

This place needs to close. They got a major fly problem. You have to swat them off your face especially around the register area. Then there is the Mexican bread. I counted 5 flies inside the glass where the bread is. Totally disgusting! The store feels dead too. It needs to be torn down and started fresh again. I’ve been coming here since 1997. It’s definitely seen it’s hay day and is in decline.

The meat is fresh and if you buy certain amount of meat you get one or more than one package of tortillas or sodas. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Things are organize and the vegetables are fresh too. It has wheelchair access.

Mexico Super' s meat department is terrific. It reminds one of an old school butcher shop. You can pick out your individual cuts and even order a scant 1/2 lb. Of meat if it's all you can afford at the time. They also have delicious marinated meats and yummy carnitas made fresh daily. In addition to their great meat department, their produce section, though small, is always super reasonably priced.

The store is filthy, customer service not good. I stood at one of their counters trying to buy a good bottle of Tequila for a birthday present and I waited and waited for about 5 - 10 minutes and nothing! However, the flies buzzed all around the store! Never again!
