I heard about Performance Mustangs from my neighbor and from reviews about the outstanding work that Jose does. The day finally came when the drivability of my '86 Mustang GT began to be problematic. Being the original owner of a 35+ year old Mustang, I felt the only shop who would understand, have the knowledge and experience on repairing and bring my Mustang back to it's original self was Performance Mustangs.

My Mustang was in such bad shape that it had to be towed 30 miles from my house to the shop. Once the Mustang was at the shop all the concerning issues of my car were brought up. Jose went over the issues with the car and mapped out the best course of action regarding what needed be done and what could be delayed.

When the work was completed on my Mustang, I was amazed of how much joy it was to drive the car again. The engine felt strong and the handling was precise, as far as a stock mid-80s muscle car can be. It was unbeliveable that Jose brought my Mustang back to what I remember when the car was new. It was like night and day comparing how the car was running before dropping it off at Performance Mustangs.

Great place to get your mustang worked on. Jose is the guy to work with on meeting your goals and offers several services for mustangs. He also is the AC god, will make your air conditioning blow ice cubes. Overall Performance Mustangs is a respectful and responsible shop that i will use in the future and refer friends and family .

Had a flywheel installed in the process had him install headers. Car had a rough start, my timing was off, headers bolts were loose, and vacuum lines were not disconnected and not put back. Had it towed back to me didn't realize the issues until a day later. Wasn't expecting this kind of work specially since I saw him and advertised so much. Was very disappointed, seem like he rushed to get my car out or something.

First off headers were install per my request you guys rushed to get the car out late out your shop. Locktite was not used with the installation of my new headers. You guys drove the car and you guys even told me the car was not running correctly. My truck was there to pick up the car cause guys had told me it was done. I did take the car as so I guess shame on me. But you guys need to take accountability on the work, again I found out these issue two days later. I was no where close and I was not going to get the car towed back to you guys. It's accountability thanks guys 👍

If anyone is looking for any type of work done to your mustang this the place to go. Jose is a great straight forward guy and communicates with you on a decision/route your going for whether its stock or performance. Performance mustangs is A1, got themselves another customer and I found myself a honest mechanic for my fox where I won't feel cheated in anyway.

Jose is a great mechanic and these guy's are incredible with Mustangs! They are a high performance shop but will also do regular maintenance. I've been coming here for years and will continue to so... Highly recommended!!
