My first experience at Amazon Go was pleasant. Despite its small size, it’s convenient for quick grab-and-go meals or coffee, comparable to 7-eleven stores. Simply scan the Amazon app or credit card, pick what you need, and leave without dealing with a cashier or scanning items. It’s an enjoyable shopping experience.

I’ve been in several times for coffee and for their deli sandwiches. Excellent quality. The concept makes it easy to get in and get out. No lines. This location is not very good. Access and parking are difficult. I wish they would move to a more convenient spot!

Amazon Go is an absolute gem! The store boasts friendly and helpful workers who brighten up your shopping experience. Conveniently located next to a vet clinic, gas station, and major intersection, it's a one-stop-shop for all your needs. We could use more stores like this, catering especially to Amazon Prime members. Embrace the convenience and exceptional service at Amazon Go—you won't be disappointed!

The new Amazon Go store on the corner of Topanga and Ventura gives me the feeling of a movie set of a convenience store. Not much on the shelves like at a 7-11 packed with snacks and food etc. It kind of has the things that you want but just not a lot of it. And some eclectic products as well which is kinda cool.

They also have Starbucks and Pink Berry dispensers as well as sandwiches, ready made salads and pizza. Haven't tried those yet.

There is also a lot of access to Amazon in a more tactile way for instance Amazon select products like cords and chargers as well as drop off and pickups for packages ordered from their website.
It also has wine, beer as well as liquor in small amounts but will work in a pinch.

What does NOT work well however is the location. That corner is really only accessible from Ventura. Yes you can right into the alley from Topanga but more often than not there's some dude trying to get out and he doesn't take in consideration that someone might want to be coming in so you can't turn and then you cause a traffic jam.
Not bad if you live nearby like I do and can walk there.

Check in with your Amazon app > In-Store Code.

It seems they're testing water here. The entrance is on their small parking lot and the doors on the blvd are blocked off. I saw a few people hesitant to get in (probably because of the shaded entrance with unique check-in system.)

I got a hot deli sandwich and it was good.
No dine-in area here. So you may need to reheat the item depends on the time of purchase to the consumption.

$1.29 any size soda is a good price. Better than their bottled counterparts. Their freestyle fountain has good selection of coke products.

Coffee machines are branded with Starbucks, so if you get a coffees/lattes here, it's likely cheaper than the SB across the street.

There's a soft serve ice cream machine but we didn't try it.

The rest is pretty on-par with convenience store/small drug store/gas stations. A lot of deli items are shared with Amazon Fresh blocks down the street.

Once it's checked-in, it's truly grab&go. And there are cameras everywhere to track your grab, return, etc. If you don't like the utopian-dystopia concept, it's not worth it, but if you don't care and want to try something new, go for it.

My first time at Amazon Go....I got two hot dogs which were good, but they forgot to put the turkey in my California Turkey sandwich! 😡

Wasn’t impressed by the selections. I went inside to buy a breakfast sandwich but couldn’t tell what quality I would be purchasing because of the packaging and display. I peaked over the food preparation counter and saw the cooked liquid eggs in a metal dish looking unappealing.

I perused through the aisles and left. Not my typical fare. It’s basically a 7/11 and AM/PM with a grab and go feature…tracking your purchases and location via Amazon app.
