Bella is an amazing and creative soul and it shows through in her work! She created a beautiful bouquet for our elopement with such care and attention to detail. It was easily my most favorite floral arrangement I’ve ever had. It was mid-January so she coordinated the bouquet with the season as well as our residence. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Mountain poppy is such a perfect addition to Idyllwild! The shop is so charming and not only filled with beautiful flowers (and a DIY make your own arrangement bar) but also great gifts like candles, cards and jewelry.

I like to pick a color palette or theme and then let Bella create an arrangement for me. She is an incredibly talented florist and her bouquets never miss! If you’re looking for flowers for an event, wedding, special occasion or just to spark a little joy in your cabin, mountain poppy is the spot. 💐

We recently contacted Mountain Poppy to do flowers for my son's wedding that was to be held at tahquitz Pines Retreat. Initially, I just wanted to get an idea of the cost. I was told to send inspirational flowers, and they would give me an idea. This was a small wedding with no wedding party. They gave me the cost of the bridal bouquet, three corsages, and three boutonnieres, $500.00. This seemed reasonable until I asked about the cost of doing arch sprays! They quoted me an additional $2500.00! I was shocked at this cost, which was completely out of my budget. I asked what they could do for $500.00 and was told I could have one flower of choice and greenery!! I had also asked if we could meet to discuss the flowers that would be used and was told they only discuss the arrangements by email or I could arrange a phone call! I had to pay $500.00 for the bridal bouquet, etc., to hold the date. The cost and customer service I received caused me to look elsewhere for the arch flowers, etc. I wish I had done this research before paying my non-refundable deposit! I contacted another company in Fallbrook and had a different experience!! The floral designer was amazing and put so much effort into choosing the exact look and flowers we wanted! She sent photos of each flower she would use, all hand-selected, and she was spot on!! We wanted a fall look with large cream roses that resembled the peony. The quote from her was $600.00. She not only arranged two large sprays for the arch, a sweetheart table arrangement, and eucalyptus for the table arrangements, dried flowers for glass jar but sent buckets of loose flowers for lanterns and the ceremony aisle!! I never did meet the floral designer from Mountain Poppy; they just dropped off the flowers the day of the wedding. I never heard from them, but the floral designer in Fallbrook sent me text messages to see how it all went..made it so personal! The point of this story is to shop around; Mountain Poppy was a total rip-off and they did not even use the flowers we asked for!!
