Beautiful location. The room was modest but cozy, and the retreat has everything you would need all in one spot. I was almost tempted to not even leave the property during my stay. The restaurant and bar was very nice. I was served by Richard who was incredibly kind and also pretty funny. I also met the lovely maintenance man and his wife in the bar and had a great evening chatting with them. Everything was awesome, the front desk staff was very helpful and communicative, checking in and out was all done through text, and I had a great time. I will definitely be coming here several times a year for a solo getaway.

Nice place, a little out of town. Entrance is attractive, grounds are generally quite nice and well kept. It's a large place so to get around some walking will be involved, the house keeping staff all get about in cars with back of the cars full of towels and such. The actual rooms are attractive and often cabin like, there seemed to be singles, duplexes and small blocks of rooms. ||I didn't try the restaurant, less a cup of hot chocolate. I thought there might be a few people there, but it was empty, probably because it was between breakfast and lunch. Fellow there was nice and friendly.||Our room was a duplex type, quite large actually, the other half of the duplex was much smaller. Room was clean and decorated nice enough. ||The drawbacks we're little and might not be applicable to every visitor, but the combination set the place back a bit in my opinion. ||Our room had a nice gas stove fireplace thing that seemed brand new,,. but didn't work. The pilot worked, but no flame. I called the desk and they seemed aware and it was "something they were working on". and "sometimes it takes a long time". It would have been nice touch for the evening if it worked : ) ||Had a cool jacuzzi tub, but took about 1/2 hour or more to modestly fill.||Grounds are a bit spread out as suggested and ice is apparently only available at the restaurant... when it's open, and it was closed (before 8pm) when I went looking. Ice bucket was tiny and it's a hike to the restaurant from some rooms. This is not good. ||Game room was fun, but some games in a bit of disrepair. We didn't have time to check out the pool area. ||Bed is more a personal preference, very soft and then firm, not a preference for us. ||Our duplex might have been a prefab or something, sound carried through the floor a lot. ||Overall, a good place, I would generally recommend. Just a few things that could and should be addressed and a few that might have been unique to my room, stay.

This place is awesome. We were originally looking at places at Palm Springs for a mini get away but instead found this place during our search. We loved that this place is pet friendly and had a restaurant. When we arrived to the property, we were blown away by the room/cabin space, fire pits, vibe of tranquility, and extra perks Tahquitz had to offer.
Rachel at the front desk was so sweet and extremely helpful when we asked her about recommendations in town.
To top it all off, the restaurant was top notch.
We loved it all and can’t wait to come back.

Thanks for making our anniversary mini vacation a memorable one. 🙂

We really had a great time and we were surprised at how nice the property was! It was sort of a last minute booking to get out of town. Such a nice place to spend two nights. The girl at the front desk was kind and friendly.

My kids really loved the amenities, including the rec room where we played air hockey, pool, and pickleball that we could borrow items from the front desk. The grounds are really nice and well kept. We stayed in a two queen room on the second floor of the yellow building. It was updated and very nice. It was really quiet and felt remote, even though it was just a short drive to town. We loved to see the stars at night!

It was dog friendly, that's how I found it. And the town is extremely dog friendly. Everything was just a 5-minute drive from the property, including the Nature Center, a nature walk, and the town. Will be back with family and friends! See the pool as amazing in the summer.

Stayed here for one night to take a breather and get out of town. The King cabin we were in was spacious and clean. It was great for our family of five… our two boys slept in the fold out bed and our two year old slept with us in the king bed. Overall, the room was tidy and clean. There was a random antique (remake?) toy airplane in the corner of the room (as seen in some website photos) that our kids just adored. The patio was relaxing and quite private. The bathroom felt updated and was clean/nice. The surroundings were beautiful.||For some reason, I just didn’t sleep that well… I think we turned the thermostat too high so maybe that was it. But there were also some odd clicking noises coming from the fridge/microwave/kitchenette area.||The restaurant was good with cute Halloween decorations and the grounds looked like there was more to offer than we were able to explore in a one night stay. I believe water was expensive at the front check-in area. ||It’s definitely a good place to stay if you have a big group or family. I would stay again.. even though I felt like something was missing (maybe a rug?)…

It's a bit out of town. The room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. It was strange to have two closet-like rooms one with a toilet and the other for a shower. Shower one is small and no where to put your clothes you take off or clean ones to put on except a small hook. Maybe put several hooks since there is no room for a bench because it's so narrow. They are fog friendly which is helpful. suggestion if someone notifies you they are Seniors don't put them in the second floor. It's hard to go up stairs and carry suitcases yet allow two flights of stairs.

Great place to stay! Great value and a great room. Location was about 5 minutes from town. I love that the resort will text you the day of to give you instructions for check in. You were able to text them throughout your whole stay if you had any concerns. It’s a very quiet retreat space. Room was clean, and tidy. But shower was very small. For reference I’m 5”2 and had to duck to get under the water. But for the price I will absolutely be back. I had a blast!!!!

Paper-thin walls and poor internet (cuts out constantly) are why I’m giving this a mid review. If you don’t happen to have a weird upstairs neighbor who wakes up and starts talking/listening to music at 4 AM, or you don’t plan on using the wi-fi for any reason at all, this would be a 5/5. The staff were all excellent and the room was very clean. But overall I wanted to get some work done somewhere quiet and this was not the place for that.
