When we walked into Kite Connection we met Allison with her amazing energy!! Right away our son took a liking to her while she showed him some cool toys and he showed her his art. Dave walked up and was amazed that our 6yo was the little artist behind it all. Dave did a live with AJ right then and there and made his dreams come true by saying he would sell his artwork in his store. Thanks for making this trip an incredible memory for our family! We recommend stopping in with your family and meeting the crew!!

Dave Shenkman is almost too dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. I was placing orders on his website at 3AM Eastern time. He had questions about them and was on the phone with me at 7AM Pacific to follow up. It's Sunday man, ease into your morning. 😁

This little curio shop is halfway down the pier. The owner/proprietor is very helpful and engaging. He walked us through a number log different kite options while also giving us some great recommendations.

They have a wide range of souvenir items to commemorate your trip to the beach.

We highly recommend checking this place out!

After rediscovering the joy of kite flying nearly 2 years ago I quickly found the range available in New Zealand very limited & expensive so after a bit of googling discovered The Kite Connection and found the owner Dave, helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with even though I'm a single customer on the other side of the planet.
I've now had about 6 or so orders/deliveries from Dave and without going into detail he went above and beyond for me on the last order/delivery.
Thanks heaps Dave for your time and patience with me and giving me the ability to build up a nice collection of kites.

This shop is absolutely lovely! Lots of fun toys and games to use on the beach. The owners/shopkeepers were so kind and we all had a good laugh playing a couple games and making some purchases. A one of a kind experience with some amazing people and an atmosphere of nostalgia!
