I was in town to visit my sister and her family and the shop was on my list. So glad I visited especially since the Emotional Support Chicken pattern is so popular right now. I’ve knit one as well and named her Chikira. The shop is lovely and the owner, Annette, and her team are so friendly and welcoming. Lots of beautiful samples too. A must stop for any fiber enthusiast.

A really fun store with lots of variety in yarns and crafts. Their signature knit or crochet kit is their Emotional Support Chicken (now in "celebrity" variations like HENnifer Lopez and Beak-oncé) Coming here is my reward when I have to pick up or drop off anyone at LAX. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and they have classes for every level, as well as potluck sit n stitches. Sock yarn, chunky, organic cotton and the finest vicuna - and everything in between.

I love to visit a yarn shop when I travel, made a stop at The Knitting Tree. I was greeting with a warn hello from the staff and knitting group. The selection was great and the vibe was fantastic! If I had more time, I would have pulled up a chair and joined the group. One of the most welcoming stores I have been in!!

I’ve knitted and shared many years with the owner of the knitting tree la. I have enjoyed all the times we have knitted and shared our experiences. Annette has a very beautiful personality and her knowledge of the art of knitting, crocheting and the art of yarn, threads and fabric is over the top.

Knitting Tree is my yarn store home away from home. I’ve shopped there every time I’ve had work trips to SoCal, and it’s been such a welcoming place. Even though my trips there’ve been many months apart, they remembered me each time. They let me join their knitting circles when I was waiting for flights or hotels, which is such a treat when you travel a lot. The yarn selection is excellent—plenty of familiar staples along with a whole bunch of cool, lesser-known yarns. Their selection of vegan yarns is top-notch—I always find something pretty to take home. Love this place!
