The drinks were good. They give me to try things I wasn’t sure what that is which helped to decide if I like it or not. They are open late which helped me to get some drinks on a long ride. The atmosphere was nice at first and there were people in line at night. The downside of all of this is that they asked for a tip straight after you pay and minimum it is 15 percent. There were 15% 20% and 25 % for a tip. These people don't serve me. They just sell me a drink. Why do I feel obligated to give them any tips and not just a small tip but that experience tip? Other cafes for people who don't want to stay in there there is an option to leave 1 or 2 dollars. I felt very disappointed and bed about that gready attitude. Jus put 1 dollar for people who is taking out. Who managed that tip? Who is so gredy there?

Their coffee needs improvement. Quality is very inconsistent, iced latte is either too watery or too dark. Hot latte just tasted weird. Staffs are friendly and atmosphere is great, but I don’t think I would come back again unfortunately. 🙁

This coffee shop is located in Irvine close to 405 exit and also somewhat close to Newport Beach. It is in a plaza with an Asian emphasis. Ordered their signature house coffee hot. The taste was good. It was both sweet and sour like a chocolate with sea salt. The good thing is that they are open until midnight ⭐️ The interior design is okay and gives a coffee shop feeling but can improved. You can find a seat relatively easily. The table I seat was not much clean but was okay.

This place is not for you if you wanted coffee. It’s a bubble tea place. They don’t offer any regular coffee. One can not get a black coffee and add your desired amount of cream or sugar. If you choose pre-sweeten coffee, it’s so laden with sugar makes it un-drinkable. Total waste of $6 for a coffee one can get from McDonald for $1 and taste 100% better. Coffee drinkers stay away. It’s place for bubble heads.

ordered a water based matcha to go and the sugar in it isn't even dissolved. Had to chew the granulated sugar in it, and not to say they asked me to tip for a simple water based matcha to go(I even did tip them 18%). America really needs to stop this rediculous tipping culture. like what am i tipping for? for the staff forgot to blend the sugar in the matcha when it's hot, before pouring the ice?

I was looking for hot green tea at 11pm. I'm very glad I found it in this place. Very cozy, comfortable chairs and sofas. Incredibly polite and kind employees. Green tea can be selected according to the strength level. There are three categories: not strong, medium and black. I will definitely come back here again.

Among many 7 Leaves stores I’ve visited, this one is the most disappointing.

1. Online order via app is off 2 hours before closing time. Are they supposed to turned off at 10PM or employees are just lazy so they turned it off?

2. The cups were not even full. Ordered drink with glass jelly added on. The amount of jelly given is so little that I could barely drink it.

3. Employee asked for tips for a to-go order and giving attitude for no tips? Are you doing anything more than your standard job? No service was given, is this the reason why you turned off online order so you could ask for tips in person?

Not sure if this was just that specific staff problem or the store culture. I’m not coming back there to pay for such low quality service and drink.
