I have always loved the renaissance pleasure fair, but this year was a little different. The security team inside of the tournament area was not as nice as they normally are. They had us push our stroller, which was a small stroller that when pushed against the front row seat did not even extend further than my legs. The security guard came and told us that we needed to fold it up or leave and we said OK well what about the other people that had their stroller out and he explained while they were up against the side wall so that was the compromise we asked well, is that an option for us? He said sure, and he walked away upset. We went along the side wall that was placed next to a trashcan and no overhead shade so basically they were having babies sit in the sun next to the trash cans, which I thought was really inappropriate. Another security guard came and told us we were not able to stand there either after we were already told that we could when we told him the other guard said he said that’s fine and let us stay however, without any sunshade it was too hot for my child and I who am pregnant and so we left early. The food is always delicious but the girls were premade and put into tissue paper so I ordered my Gyro and it is out took my first bite. The entire tissue paper fell apart in the bottom, and that was the last she wrote.

After two years of absence the Renaissance Pleasure Faire is back! We got to go during the opening weekend and it’s just as grand as I remember. Most of my favorite shows are still here, and a couple of new ones added to the line up. Food is still amazing, but I was bummed that the meat pies are no longer offered. Come dressed comfortably or in your favorite pirate, fairy, wizard, or wench costume. Make sure to bring cash as most vendors are still cash only. Some do accept Lady visa, Master card, and New World Express, but not all. There are still a lot of shopping opportunities and drinking to be done, so don’t miss out of a great family adventure.

The original and best Renaissance Faire in So-Cal! Have been going since I was a kid and love it every year! So many amazing vendors and the food is always great! Make sure to see the shows (Broon is my favorite) and catch at least one of the Jousts as well! It is my favorite event of the year! Huzzah!!

Had an amazing time at the fair - everyone was super nice minus the normal humans who only think of themselves. I went in a wheelchair and I should have taken a snow plow attachment for the front end because no one could move out of the way for a wheelchair to drive or to see.

Arrived at 9:09 on a Saturday, parked by 9:25, got costumes on and walked up right as gates opened. Highly recommend going early. The crowds were very reasonable. Stayed for the afternoon joust to which we exited from and found crowd getting pretty heavy. Least around 4pm and exiting was just as smooth as our entrance. We had a great time, highly recommend going bit going early as well as watching their facebook page for traffic updates. We were nervous as there were detours but it all worked out seamlessly. Now I have 2 kids that are already excited to come back next yr! Thank you for helping build a core memory for them! 🤗

The faire itself was good, however I would not recommend going until they figure out the parking situation. When we got there at 10, the fair's traffic control was so bad for the car entering, we waited an entire hour before any movement on the line started happened and that's only because the police finally came to do traffic control. It took more than 2 full hours to enter, got in around 12:30.

The exit was even worse, I literally waited for an entire 2 hour before any movement happened. If it sounds like I'm exaggerating, I'm not. I got to my car at 7 and it was 9pm before I left the parking. It was actually mind blowing how bad it was.

Anyways would recommend parking outside and walk in if you were to attend. Parking is a joke...

Absolutely, insanely, horrifically, pathetic.
If your idea of a ren fair is being pushed down and narrow corridor that you have to then return back to with a absolutely insanely zero aspect of local brew then this is the renfair for you. Completely bought out by Budweiser so no local breweries are allowed. So no local Mead, or Brew which I think is essential to a Ren Faire. And also the food is Carnival Food so don't expect anything unique. And for the little bit of Carnival food they have expect to wait 30 to 45 minutes just to get something to eat. Back in the day this renaissance fair was held at the bottom of the Cajon Pass and it was awesome, big trees and grass fields, you could choose to walk in many directions. But it was bought out and sold to Budweiser. And they will own it from here on out so it is a big pit hole now.

Having been to The Bristol Renaissance Faire for many years, this one was a disappointment. However, it was still fun to see all the costumes and performers, as well all of the shops. It is such a fun atmosphere and there is stuff to do for all ages, young and old alike. Lots of parking available! I personally didn’t care for the layout of the faire and think more rides and games should have been available. Would also like to see more performers and/or shows!!
