We are from out of town and this is the first time we tried this place. Let me say it was amazing food. You know it's probably a good place when it's 11:00 in the morning on a Tuesday and it's packed inside. It's a bakery/ restaurant/deli. Check out the pics included. They show some of the most delicious desserts and cutting fresh meat for the deli sandwiches. Our server, Lori, was amazing and super friendly. We got the sticky bun and it was huge and tasted so delicious. If you haven't been there, add it as a must do if you're in town. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Stopped here because I was in the area and it had great reviews.

I will probably come her for lunch later this week and try out their deli offerings.

I ordered the con-beef hash. Man was it good. The corned beef was crumbled (vs shredded) and the flavor of the meat, eggs and potatoes was delectable.

They have a bakery which looked to provide cakes, pastries, bagels and all sort of other treats.

Sherman’s Deli & Bakery in Palm Desert is much more than just a deli or a bakery. This is a full scale sit-down “New York Style Family Restaurant”; far more than I expected before arriving. In addition to about 40 custom sandwiches to choose from, they have breakfast all day, dinner plates, chef’s specials, 10 listed salads, beer and wine, and more. Seating is cozy and comfortable, and service was friendly and prompt. Everything we had at our table was excellent. Very much recommended.

A very high quality New York / Jewish style deli. The portions are very large. We've had the corned beef, and the potato pancakes and can recommend them.

They have a large bakery section too. We tried the rugelach, and they were very average. I wouldn't bother with them again.

It's not a huge place so expect to wait for a table, especially on the weekends. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge.

The food was awesome I ordered a patty melt and my only complaint was I couldn't get enough. My friend ordered pasta and I finished it because of the large serving size.
The service was good but It would take a couple minutes for my drink to be refilled but other than that the server spoke and laughed with us. It was quite busy.
Great atmosphere would definitely recommend.

Cinnamon role was the bomb and it was only four dollars

Best deli in the west coast! Always fast great service and excellent food! Worth the trip here every time!

If you are feeling hungry, get the Beef n Latke! You get a choice of corned beef, pastrami, turkey, or brisket!! Super Yummers!!!

All I have to say is never order the “French Dip”. Seriously the WORST one I have ever had. The first one was loaded with Gristle and fat. I usually never send anything back having worked in the industry for many years. But this was almost insulting. I’d hesitate giving it to my dog.

I was understanding and the manager was really nice and attentive. However I took the second one home and again, worst “French Dip” ever! It was extremely dry, flavorless, still stuck in my teeth, and basically over cooked. As we all know, French Dips are supposed to be very tender and juicy. Well I basically had to drink the Au Jus to swallow the desert dry and overcooked meat down. See pictures..

On a bright note, the Tuna salad is amazing and the staff really is great and hard working! However, French Dip is a very popular sandwich. I’d highly recommend better beef or something! Two thumbs down on the French Dip. Everything else was a good experience.

Clean diner with excellent customer service. Portions are HUGE. love the whipped potato salad.
