They will now cancel time slots apparently if not enough people on a bus, thereby making wait times at LAX potentially very long... The last thing you want to hear when traveling all day. Seems like they also got rid of their two person system... 1 driver 1 checkin person. Very inefficient added a 1/2 hour to the exit times from lax... Staff still very professional but this service is slowly losing its convienence.

One of the gems of Old Town, Goleta. I try to innovate around using a car whenever I can. I love parking my bicycle at either SBA or the HQ of SB Airbus and then allowing professional drivers/pilots to navigate to my chosen destination. SB Airbus is consistent with their clear communication and customer service. I think I have called their main phone line at least six times to report that I was still in LAX Baggage Claim and worried that they may miss me in the loop. They are always reassuring and helpful. I trust their drivers so much, I immediately fall into a deep sleep when I'm riding home from LAX to Goleta. As Goleta (as a city) pays attention to transportation, I hope we all remember that the experts have been here for a long time. They know how to drive. I am grateful for them.

I prepaid for an LAX shuttle service from their new Camarillo stop for four passengers on Dec 16. Prior to online payment, I contacted them, and their customer service was friendly. They even advertise in their website regarding for paying extra for adding empty seat next to you. However, upon boarding with my wife and two kids, despite the advance payment for four reserved seats, there were no available seats for us to sit together. The attached pictures depict passengers occupying individual seats with their belongs, even when traveling together!!!
I sought the driver's help, who called for volunteers to sit together. Fortunately, one passenger moved, and we found two seats. However, the driver insisted my wife and I sit separately and either hold our child on our laps or use a separate seat. This situation shows their poor management approach and not having and plan for seating passenger considering the advance booking for four passengers.
Upon contacting customer service, the attitude was different. Speaking with the manager revealed a first-come, first-served policy.. Despite expressing dissatisfaction, the manager encouraged me to share my experience with others. While my family initially looked forward to the new Camarillo stop, the poor management and reluctance to improve services marred the experience. I decided to not using their service anymore until the management plan to change his attitude and try to implement better services.
The current claim of paying extra to avoid awkward encounters is contradicted by the actual seating scenario. The management should simply improve their services and implementing some new arrangement for seating people specifically people are traveling together to be seated next to each other while they reserved in advance. Not the current situation that even the group of people are traveling together prefer to occupy one seat and put their belong in the next seat that is shown in this picture !!!

I took the bus from LAX to Santa Barbara and it was a wonderful experience! The instructions were very clear. Our driver was Carlos and the ride was safe and smooth, with some nice views of the ocean! The bus has free wifi, a bathroom, and snacks and water are sold for $1 each (cash or Venmo). The AC was great. He also allowed someone from the next departure time to take our bus (she was early), and I had called before to ask if my flight were delayed, would I be able to take the next bus and the answer was yes. Love the service and flexibility! Very satisfied with this service. π«Άπ» The bus was around 20 minutes late but traffic in LA seems to be very unpredictable.

Recently took the Airbus from LAX to Goleta. The suspension on the bus seemed to be compromised, and/or the busses are too old. My elderly, handicapped mother had back surgery and was in pain the entire trip. I took fel nauseated from the constant bumping. I've used the Airbus since I was young. It's changed. Also there is a fee for not scheduling before 48 hours. A trip of $100 cost $120. UPDATE: I did contact customer service and they offered an opportunity to try again. Very grateful for these types of companies that care and want to do better. Changing 3/5 to 5/5 stars. Appreciate the exchange and willingness to keep a solid customer that's been using the services for about 20 years.

Comfortable ride from Santa Barbara to LAX. Overhead space fits backpacks or very thin suitcases (my Away carry on did not fit). Driver will place larger luggage under the bus. $55 for 2 hour ride. The bus left exactly on the minute it said it would and arrived before the scheduled time. Definitely check out the schedule beforehand to best time your arrival.

The bus left 3 minutes prior to the departure time. I arrived 15 min early and went across the road to buy water. The online location map did not work. They did not care about their passengers. The driver just abandoned me, and thereβs no compensation for this. I would never trust sb Airbus again.
