I would give five stars but recently on your specials you have bumped the family packages of chicken which I eat only chicken not beef from 5 lb bags to 10 lb bags. I am 69 years old I don't eat as much as I used to and I live alone. Not only that I don't have enough freezer space to buy 10 lb of just chicken at one time. I have been shopping at your store for over 27 years and I am getting irritated with the amount of specials you have to buy to get a decent price. Please think about the other people the elderly that can only sometimes afford so much chicken at one time or have the space to store it and to eat it before it gets freezer burned. Hope this helps and maybe I'll see a special on chicken breast for less than 10 lb bag. Otherwise you have a great store good prices I just can't buy your specials on meat anymore.

Today we purchased a package of Chicken Gizzards from the Jackson Store, which some find gross but I grew up eating them. When we opened the package, which was packed on July 18th we found over half of the gizzards still had the inner skin on them. This should have all been removed as it's nothing but vile. This showed me that whoever is working in the meat dept has no idea what they are doing. We ended up throwing the whole package awaydue to this and the possibility of contamination. Normally Cost Less is pretty good, but from here on I would recommened you check your meat products over good before purchasing them.
