We had a fantastic stay at the Elmar! It was our first time there. The location is close to everything but inside the room was quiet. We loved the separate bedroom and living space. The room was clean and all furniture was comfortable and stylish. There is central air in the whole unit. We stayed on an end unit so there was a lot of natural light but also blackout shades for when we slept. They had beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas for the beach which is only a short walk away. The staff was very kind and friendly. We will definitely stay at the Elmar again!

Always enjoy our stays at El Mar! Great location convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops. Fantastic rooms with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, they have thought of it all!

We had stayed here before about 8 years ago then we had a group that needed to evacuate from the west coast due to hurricane Milton and they couldn't have been more accommodating. This place is spotless and comfortable very convenient to beach and town never needed to use our car. The staff couldn't be friendlier and made us feel like family. Whenever we're in the area it will be the first place we check for availability.

Amazing hotel, the rooms are big and comfy. I really enjoyed the pool and the location is really convinient. The beach is really close, there are some really good restaurants and malls near to this location, and the person who did the check-in is always aware of any needs you may have. I would definitely come back.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Elmar. It is located in a prime location surrounded by many restaurants and steps away from the beach. The room is newly renovated and very clean, with modern bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances. The hotel owner is very nice and accommodating, but also allows for privacy. The room also comes with a parking space which is a huge win! We would definitely recommend The Elmar to anyone who is looking to stay in downtown Lauderdale-by-the-sea!

Outstanding stay at the Elmar! Almost hate to post a 5 star review because this property is very special. Excellent rooms, bread location and excellent people. Corina is kind and responsive, even checking to ensure we were enjoying our stay. This will be our yearly spot in Lauderdale by the Sea.
