Old school diner food. Simple and easy and what you want from a diner. Price gives you a good feeling that you are getting your money's worth. Secret tip: on your home fries add cheese and bacon. You will not regret it.

This is a new revised review. As a 30 year customer of Walter’s coffee shop, I had been somewhat critical of the new management and menu changes. I’m pleased to provide positive feedback they have turned things around. The staff is well trained & efficient, service excellent and the food is delicious. I recently went in on a busy Saturday morning & everything was flawless. I really liked their breakfast specials which are an amazing value & generous portions. Prior ownership never had that and I frequently asked them to consider it. Keep up the great job & I’ll be back again for sure. Thanks Sergio!

Shay always good vibes. I had my dog because we were going for a walk with no intentions on stopping at Walter’s. Shay accepted me and my dog sitting in the outdoor patio area and explained that there was no server in that area but she will take me. Thanks Shay ! Love ya girl. And Christina the bar tender for making my usual tequila sunrise. 🫶🏽🫶🏽 and the young man for bringing my doggie some water .

Came here with my daughters and the food was AMAZING! Our waiter, Jacob was AWESOME!! The owner and his family were very nice. Our experience felt like we were eating at home! We will definitely be back!!

I absolutely love Walter’s! My boyfriend introduced me to this place, and I make sure he keeps bringing me back ever since. The food and ambiance are wonderful, but my favorite aspect of going to Walter’s are the OUTSTANDING STAFF that they have - particularly Shay, Laura, and Jacob today! From the moment that we stepped into the restaurant Shay and Jacob greeted us and Jacob seated us. They were very friendly, gregarious, warm and wonderful! Laura is usually our waitress whenever we come and she is amazing. All of these individuals add to an overall fantastic experience at Walter’s and it’s the most salient reason why I keep coming back!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!! I never thought Walters could ever be better than when Walter the father and Mother ran it. But OMG these new owners are so loyal and creative. Let me start by telling you that some of Walter’s employers stayed with the new Walter’s. So the breakfast, which half of our party had was nostalgic and as delicious as always. NOW…… let’s move over to the Vietnamese side. OMG!!!!!! This PHO IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. The broth in this soup is soooooo delicious. The other half of our party ate from the Vietnamese side. One of the owners came by the table to make sure we were doing good, and he is so polite and attentive to the business. Our waitress Laura just couldn’t do enough for us. The male and female servers who helped Laura always had a smile on their faces. The working dynamic seems to be a cohesive one which always alludes to a great working environment thus making the customers visit pleasant. The restaurant is clean, bright, and welcoming. I recommend The new Walter’s wholeheartedly and hands-down, you will not go wrong here. If nostalgic is what you’re looking for stick to the original Walters breakfast and lunch menu. If Pho is what you’re looking for then your hearts content will be satisfied here. Thank you, Walter’s for your service, your cleanliness, and your delicious meals. We will be back.

Grand opening. A new Vietnamese restaurant with a new owner. Just opened less than 2 weeks ago. The dish was delicious especially the traditional Vietnamese noodle Pho. The restaurant was clean, nice quiet environment with polite waiters. Best Vietnamese restaurant in South Miami. Recommended

It's been a while since going to Walter's and THE USUAL didn't disappoint. The breakfast plate was ample and could nearly be finished. My wife enjoyed a tuna salad plate. We will now return to try their Vietnamese food, especially the Pho that looked good. Our order was taken quickly and was brought to us just that fast.
