As a frugal fashion enthusiast, I appreciate the delightful finds offered by Lake House Clothing Co.

My experiences over the years in thrift and consignment stores have led me to discover many beautiful, high-quality pieces.

I believe in prioritizing quality over quantity, opting to invest in a few carefully crafted items that can withstand the test of time—much like the timeless elegance of fashion icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Onassis.

Recently, my niece visited from New Jersey and inquired about nearby thrift stores. Instantly, I remembered a hidden gem known for its fantastic selection of new clothes at remarkable prices.

On Saturday afternoon, she was warmly welcomed by the store owners.

While exploring the "fancy dress" section, she discovered two dresses that captured her interest.

One dress fit beautifully with only a minor adjustment needed for length, while the other required some pleating and hemming.

Our dedicated seamstress embraced the challenge with determination and spent all of Sunday expertly tailoring the dresses. At 5:07 PM, we received a text confirming the completion of the alterations.

Excitedly, my niece and I hurried to the store, arriving just before closing at 5:58 PM. She was absolutely thrilled with the fit of her dresses, and I felt immense joy in seeing her delight.

I expressed my gratitude to Tommy, the owner, with a high five, and shared a warm hug with Glecy, the owner/seamstress, for their exceptional efforts in ensuring the dresses were ready in time for her return home the following day.

The owner is very nice. The store is very clean and pretty. The priced are very affordable and great quality. Don't have allot of men's clothes but had some men's shorts.. but over all will come back.

Wowza!!! This place ROCKS! Not only are they EXTREMELY HELPFUL/FRIENDLY ... they have TONS and TONS of variety of clothes. Everything is organized by types/colors. What tops it all off is the seamster that is so so sweet. She is shortening one of my favorite dresses that I always trip on. Each time I come to Florida...this is a MOST stop.

This is a FANTASTIC store. The variety of clothes and sizes is great and the prices are even better. I’ve purchased multiple times from this store and have also had pants hemmed as well. The clothes are great quality and the tailoring is perfect!!!
