I thought twice before doing this review but it’s unfair not to be the only one who goes through this and that no one is reading this! I went with great enthusiasm and ordered a medium coconut and pistachio ice cream, along with an empty wafe and a coffee. The result? A rude girl with a hearing aid without hearing what I was telling her, a mini ice cream for $9?!!!!!! Only pistachio because I totally ignore what I was asking for, I didn’t get my wafer either, and also an untouchable coffee, they had reheated the milk so much that I’m sure it was damaged (taking into account that it was a metal jug under the counter filled with warm milk without being in the fridge) definitely I lost $15 and left terribly upset.

I love this bakery! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the aroma of freshly baked goods and rich espresso. One of the standout desserts at Pan’e Dolci is their exquisite apple dessert. It's a perfect blend of sweet and tart, with a buttery crust that melts in your mouth. Each bite is a testament to the bakery’s dedication to quality and tradition. Their espresso coffee is simply the best I’ve ever had outside of Italy. Rich, robust, and perfectly brewed, it’s the perfect companion to any of their pastries or desserts.

I wanted to love this place, but it just didn’t do it for me. First I asked for an iced latte, they don’t have ice. So I ordered a double shot of espresso instead, and it was $7!? I’ve never paid that much for espresso. In Italy, espresso is 1€. I asked for a cup of water and they said they only have bottled water. Make a cafe that is for the tourists !!

The presentation makes you just stop and take a pause. Everything looks so beautiful but even better is the taste. The freshness and perfe t balance of sweetness is perfect. We tried the cannoli, and 3 types of gelato: coconut, pistachio and lemon. Did not disappoint.

We spend the winters inLauderdale-by-the-Sea. Went for a walk last evening and stopped to have two Americano‘s at Panna dolce. To say we were Shocked that the cost was $13.60 is an understatement!! And the audacity for a tip to come up on the machine!!. I would think if the owners can charge almost $14 for two coffees they should be playing their staff exceptionally well!!!!
