The absolute worst shopping experience we’ve ever encountered. It was almost unbelievable - like we questioned whether we were on candid camera! The lady working in the shop told my daughter she was not allowed to try on more than one color of a tank top she loved. We wanted to buy several (and did at the shop next door). We were very nice and complied with this ridiculous demand. She then rolled her eyes at us & made very insulting comments all while exhaling her vape smoke! We never said anything to her in return. We just put our merchandise back on the shelf & pleasantly walked out of the store in disbelief and the sheer rudeness of it. What a bummer of a shopping experience for out of town customers looking for a great experience in your beautiful beach front shop.

I left a review of another store owned by the owners of Style In and got the 2 stores mixed up as I wrote a less than complimentary review. (in the other store, sunglasses and swim by Style In, the salespeople were polite and helpful) It was this store that had the Very pushy saleswoman and though the store had a good selection/good brands/some good sales, I wouldn't recommend it. In the past 2 weeks, I went to this store, looking for a bathing suit. I found some on the sale rack and the saleswoman insisted that I try on some that were regular priced. I didn't happen to like those 1 piece swimsuits -- too expensive ($195) and I didn't care for the colors (bright blues/mauve) though I did agree to try one on. I preferred one of the sale bathing suits and brought it out to purchase, only to hear an audible groan of disgust from the saleswoman at seeing that I had chosen the sale suit. If this store and its sister store nearby, want to succeed, they need to improve their sales tactics -- obnoxious pushiness doesn't do it for me or I am guessing, for most women!

I was looking for a pair of shorts for my daughter, I was traveling and in a pinch. I found a pair that was on a sale rack. At the counter I was refused the sale price, and told they must have been put there by accident. There was multiple sizes of the same short. They clearly have a sale section, and I was so annoyed I paid 30$ for something that should have been on sale. I managed retail for years and would never argue with a customer. I really wanted to return them out of principle, but no big deal. You can get quality close elsewhere, and definitely better service. My opinion to stay clear unless you have money to blow!

A friend introduced me to Style In while on vacation in Ft.laudervile. Sales associate Jennifer was fantastic. She knows the shop inside and out. Helped with putting together clothing that would work best for me. I enjoyed shopping there so much that we returned to shop 3 times in 5 days. It was always a pleasure to see Jennifer 's sweet smile. I will return next time I'm in town.

I wandered into this shop about 5 years ago while visiting from the Boston area and I am now a customer for life! This is the only place I shop when I take my yearly vacation to Ft Lauderdale. Jennifer knows fit, style and makes my shopping experience fun! She has a knack of finding the right combinations and size for my body and helps to take my out of my comfort zone. I even bought a bikini this year. Everyone always wants to know where I buy my summer wardrobe. This is not your typical “beach shop”, the store carries quality merchandise with a staff to match. I travel to FLL frequently and had wonderful service by Jennifer yesterday. She chose a top
to go with a skirt I fell in love with. I even went back last night and bought a few more pieces here. This is not a cheap store, they carry gorgeous somewhat higher-end items but at a reasonable price point. Don’t believe the bad reviews, this place is awesome and I will shop here every time I’m in FLL!

Terrible customer service and attitude from workers. The older lady with the gray hair was one of the nastiest hags I have ever encountered and was loudly arguing with the other worker over the smallest things. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable environment in the store. Ugly clothes and swimsuits. Definitely would avoid this place if you do not want to be treated like a peasant by the workers. There is a very clear reason why the place is empty and nobody who came in made a purchase.

A very wide selection of clothing. From preppy to Hawaiian, you can find what you need. The prices are not bad either. They have the prices that the brands recommend. Jenifer and Brie were very helpful and kind. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and was amazed with their help! I would definitely go back again!
