I took in gently used purses and dress shoes to sell to Plato’s Closet, but I didn’t actually shop. I did look around a bit, though, and they have quite a lot on offer. This was my first time going to this store, and I didn’t realize before going that they market primarily to teens and young adults. They only took a few of the purses I had and none of the shoes, and I was disappointed not to have sold more of my stuff. I asked the clerk if there was any problem with the shoes or if they don’t sell larger sizes (I apparently now wear a women’s size 13-1/2 or 14, and I was purging the size 13s that are now too tight), and they said there wasn’t any problem; they just seemed to be for a more mature woman, and that is definitely accurate. I’d only been to a Plato’s Closet one other time in a different city. I was with my sister, and she took in purses, wallets and shoes. They bought everything she had, and she made nearly $200! I was absolutely amazed, and maybe that’s why I clearly didn’t notice their market is teens and young adults! Duh. My bad! 🙄

Hidden gem . Clean store, color coded selections, polite staff. In my opinion, their inventory had less holes and stains than some of the other Plato's in the area--which is a testament to the staff's attention to detail. Also, their Dollar clearance sales are a steal--If you can catch one. Sometimes ends up being a better deal than the 90% off clearance deals at some of the other locations, depending what you're looking for. Don't get me wrong--I still love and and am grateful for all the other Platos too!!!! Very thankful for this franchise!!

This place is a literal joke - never going to any platos closet ever again. All of my clothing is current and very good condition or worn once. They told me the clothes are on current style and wouldn't take anything.
Their racks were TERRIBLE and overpriced for awful items i honestly found NOTHING to buy there besides shoes. Thanks for nothing platos closet.

If you make a large purchase here, they will hide your clothes behind the counter. After they ring you up, they will distract you with discounts. After that, they will then fail to give you the clothes you bought, and see if you realize they have kept your clothes. Don't make large purchases here, only buy whatever you can keep track of; because they refuse to give you access to your account, and just keep asking 'do you have the receipt', even though they track you through your phone number.

I have been to a couple of Plato's Closets over the years after moving to Florida. It never disappoints. If my daughter (20 years ago) and my granddaughter (4 days ago) were and are excited to shop at a second hand store and delighted with their purchases back then and still to this day you know it's a great place to shop. Both have found items to fill out their wardrobes along with one of a kind pieces that are easy on my wallet. They are happy and so am I ❣️

Always good finds but as far taking items to be sold is a joke you get bare minimum. I wished they offered more in store credit since I get great things from there. Staff is very quiet.

I helped my friend bring in 2 big box fulls of clothes. I don't feel like they really looked thru all the stuff we brought in. There were some brand new (still had tags in them), good quality, name brand items and they were like "nothing, things are too worn". Like for real, because these still have tags on them and were never worn so...not sure how that's possible.
The store was clean and organized but they weren't much help to us.
