This place is incredible, it is quite the operation and a highly recommended thing to do while in St. Pete. Saturdays are as busy as it gets, you'll be lucky to find a parking spot. After navigating the crowd and visiting the bakery and the deli, we grabbed drinks and ate at the covered patio. It is a very nice area with plenty of tables. There is also a dedicated wine and cheese section where you can get some olive samples. Very enjoyable experience, can't wait to return!

Great Italian market! Sandwiches were outstanding and fresh and so many options inside. Coffee bar was great and the atmosphere was nice. Older guy who sits in his same chair at the coffee bar goes there every morning was sweet and gave me a Valentine’s Day hat! You can tell people love this place.

Great Italian market that has anything you could want/imagine and more! There are several sections of the store including a fresh coffee bar, deli, dessert area, wine room, cheese room, grocery items section, pasta section, meat counter - both italian meats and then a steak & fresh meat section, and throughout are SO many fresh items that are prepared to heat & eat. A really incredible selection, great staff. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend it! It gets very crowded during peak times and the holidays, but for good reason!! THE BEST!

This is NOT a mere market, this is a true sensory-encompassing experience of sounds, sights, and smells. I loved the shelves and cases of al kinds of cheeses, pasta salads, coffees-ready-to-grind-and-take-home, pastas, sauces, savory treats, sweets, and all things Italian. AL offered lots of wine information based on his reputed 50 years of experiene. I sampled some great provolone cheese, grabbed some of that cheese and some meats and headed to the quick-moving line where LISA checked me out. I passed the central gourmet coffee bar and the self-serve coffee section to head to the back dining patio. On the way, I found a cooler full of Italian beverages amid the Cocacola® products. Later I found some more private dining venues out front, including some private picnic tables, a "motorcycle" table, and a kid-friendly cartoon table.
This is a true Italian sensory experience, not to be missed. I took home some cheeses, wines, and treats to extend the experience.

Wow, what a fantastic store and deli. The food and selections rival the best in the US if looking for authentic Italian meats, cheeses, wines, deserts, breads, sandwiches, and espresso. While visiting Florida we went there almost every day. Wish they would open one in Philadelphia.

A true gem. It’s all the quirky details in every corner for me, discovering new things with every visit. Go early if you can. This place gets crazy busy, but our experience is always wonderful. Mazzaro’s lives up to the hype.The sandwiches we had were amazing. The selection of wine here is incredible and there is something for every price range. They also have fresh pasta, pastries & meats to choose from. If you are looking for something delicious and easy they have several options to take home & bake, from lasagna to pizza. I can’t wait to come back!
