This incredible place is like dropping a house in Oz!! We walked in looking for some specific things. We had no inkling we would find Jessica (who met me at the door explaining I was to go to my size location to find my shoes! Bless her heart!) she was a breath of fresh sea air!! And then..of all people, there was Wendy herself!! Amazing woman!! She is the real deal!! She has been at this since 1993!! She has a staff of folx who will keep us all youthful!! Jessica helped us put together some stylin’ outfits for our upcoming fundraiser!! We will be sure to send photos to the game at Wendy’s!! Just look for something from your friends ‘the flamingals’. Loved, loved, loved Wendy’s Closet on Central!! Can’t wait to go back!!

THE BEST vintage store I've ever been to!! Tons of selection and all very high quality pieces at fair prices. The deals were amazing, I wanted to stay for the whole day ugh. Wendy is super super cool and accommodating--we loved her soo much! BIG shoutout to Jessica she's awesome and gave us hugs haha. This place makes me so happy 🙂

We have visited Wendy’s Closet two times now and both times we have loved our shopping experience! The shop is full with hundreds of different clothes from jeans to jackets to t-shirts to boots and so much more. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and Wendy is such a delight to talk to and interact with, she makes shopping here 10 times better than other places. The deals here are also insane, we get amazing prices on high quality and vintage clothes that we wear all the time, for example my girlfriend loves her jeans more than pairs from any other store because they are such good fits and high quality. We love Wendy’s Closet and will visit every time we are in St. Petersburg!

Easily one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had at a vintage clothing store yet. Typically when stores have large amounts of inventory such as Wendy’s, I get overwhelmed easily and end up not knowing what to grab and leaving empty handed. Wendy and her crew are so amazing. They were so helpful to me and my group literally giving us recommendations and helping us try things on. I loved seeing how enthusiastic they all got when we’d find stuff to try on and it’d fit our style and our builds perfectly! I will say the stacks of jeans I was scared to go through because I was worried about having it tumble, but I was SO impressed with how Wendy and the employees know where everything is and move so swiftly throughout the store. This is a must visit for me from now on every time I go to st Pete. Note, I saw reviews saying this place is expensive, it’s curated vintage clothes that’s good quality/condition, I found the prices reasonable compared to other curated vintage stores who charge 100+ for any old t shirt that has a sport team on it.

I’ve been to Wendy’s 3 times now and every time is better than the last, it’s a little overwhelming the first time you visit but either Wendy or any of her amazing employees will guide you through it. Wendy herself is great and is always the kindest and funniest person in the store. I cannot recommended this store enough (it also feeds my severe addiction to hockey jerseys so I love it)

I would just like to say that Wendy clean up the entire store before taking any photos be aware when you go there you will fall over things you will have an allergy attack there's dust 4 inches thick on top of the moccasins nothing is ever rotated or cleaned things are put three to a hanger and she wants $45 for a holy stained t-shirt that's not even vintage
All you have to do is read Wendy's responses to anyone who gives her negative review to see that the woman is nuts and should not be in customer service for somebody who has worked directly with the public for over 45 years I will never work with this woman again and I make my living full-time selling clothes by the way she doesn't know what's truly vintage she just calls in her closet and prices a dirty t-shirt for $50
