I recently ordered two speakers from this company for my truck. I installed the first one easily, then tore apart my second door panel to install the second speaker. That’s when I noticed a small wire appeared slightly damaged and wasn’t fully seated.

I went on Amazon and quickly found the company’s number. I called on a Saturday morning, and within a minute, a customer service representative from the U.S. answered. He was polite and professional. I explained my issue and mentioned that I didn’t want to remove the one I had already installed just to return both. He gladly took my information and sent me a brand-new speaker free of charge, instructing me to simply dispose of the defective one. Within minutes, I received a confirmation email with shipping details and an estimated delivery date.

I can’t say enough about how impressive the customer service was—and the speakers sound fantastic. Because of this experience, I will buy nothing but SKAR products for my audio needs. Companies that genuinely care about their customers are hard to find nowadays, and I appreciate that Skar Audio upholds strong business ethics and conducts business the right way.

These guys are awesome. I ordered some gear and wound up needing to send it back through no fault of Skar, and the return process was very easy. They have quality products that are very affordable and they ship their stuff at lightning speed. Will definitely go back to this outfit for all my car audio needs going forward.

My mom bought my minor son an amplifier that he had wanted for Christmas from here. Because it was for Christmas, it was purchased a couple weeks in advance to ensure it would be here by Christmas. Due to our schedules, this is the first opportunity we’ve had to install the amp. And it’s junk. Doesn’t work. While I know we are beyond the 30 day return window from when my mom bought it, we are less than 30 days from Christmas when my son got it. This company does not care. We have to pay to ship back an amp that came defective with no guarantee they will even honor their product. Shop somewhere else. Skar, do better. You just lost a young consumer that was interested in getting his whole set up from your company.

This Company is a joke!!! They gave me a warranty claim number, I spent $75 In shipping. A week and half later, I received the same repackaged, defective subwoofers back. No explanation, no email, nothing. Do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable company. DONT BUY FROM SKAR AUDIO!

Horrible quality subs I bought 2 vd10s with box amp and wiring kit and the subs are already toasted close to 3 months later professionally installed so that’s not the cause. I already ordered Rockford fosgate to replace these junk subs! I would not recommend to ANYONE you pay for what you get…. I knew the deal was to good to be true and I should have stuck with my gut feeling but I didn’t and learned a lesson I will be trashing the equipment where it belongs

Beware, skar will not help once they’ve thrown your package onto a truck. Ordered twice through skar for a professional install, scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance. Both times stated 5-7 day FedEx shipping, with no options for others, or even fine text to say it can be through anyone else, yet both times my order was handed off to USPS instead and customer service just says that’s how it is nothing they can do, well the first order I waited for a week, was still in Florida at the same usps center saying in transit, the first order, they reshipped immediately through FedEx, and I got it from FedEx in 3 days. Ordered again, triple checked website, says FedEx, so I order again. Ten days later, same issue, hardly even made it away from the shipper yet. So I contact skar again, and again and again, every time now they’re telling me they have to wait for the order to be over 3 WEEKS LATE before they will even try to reship and just regurgitating the same bs “can’t do anything response” WHEN THEY DID LIKE A WEEK AGO?!? Lol not to mention they never even actually put in the return order on the first on usps, so it came in like a month later and I had to take it to ups myself, funny they had no issues sending a different shipping label that time

I love everything I've purchased, I'm super impressed and won't be using any other brand. The durability of their subwoofers is 2nd to none and the sound quality of even their cheapest product out performs every brand I've tried (kicker, pioneer, jbl etc) at a fraction of the cost. My only gripe is the bad shipping practices and no matter how bad it gets they won't switch carriers. FedEx sucks but I know Freight is another story since I also ship car audio. I bought used VD10s from eBay and they are solid. Bought SDRs from Skar site and I love them. They are very musical and impressive with the lows. I have the VXF12s and can only use them indoors at moderate volumes due to owning a newer Mazda that is too cheaply made to take that kind of bass so for now I enjoy my baby VXF'S. That what I call the SDRs.
