I found the perfect place for fishing gear in the area. All the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They used to be located behind Publix in Lighthouse Point. Now, their new store is filled with the best gear at good prices. This is definitely my favorite spot for fishing tackle, poles, and gear. The owner is a legend in this area; people used to pay him a lot of money to take them fishing, from finding bait all the way to landing the fish they were seeking. He's an all-around great guy, and his staff make custom rods and are very knowledgeable. I didn't see him today, but I'm sure he'll be around next time! Another employee was very helpful when I was looking for a new rod and reel; there was no pressure, and they took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. They even put the line on for me, and it was great quality all around. Thanks for all the help today!

I used to go to the old store and had good results getting what I wanted and needed. The new location is bigger and better than I had heard from my fishing buddies. I was not only surprised at all the different inventory. I was glad to see the guys I remember working at the old location. Jordan has really improved the store and added so much more then just inventory. Great Store.

I was very surprised with the treatment I got at this store. I walked in three weeks ago not knowing a lick about fishing and totally clueless on how to set up my rods. The manager (I think) and the two guys up front were so helpful. They gave me details with a smile and offered tips and tricks with no attempts to sell me anything. We had a discussion and they checked out my reels for me. Great attitude and very helpful staff. This is now my GO TO place for all my fishing needs. The best part of it all is they back the blue! Thank you for being so good to a newbie!

my personal opinion is this is the only place to go. the customer service i received by Marshall went way beyond someone helping a customer. his patience, and his knowledge were beyond compare. i think he is definitely an employee that is more than an asset. i cant say enough about his helpfulness.

Blown away by the awesome customer service. I had looked for a specific Xtratuff boot that I was DYING to have but could not find in my size anywhere. I finally landed on the Custom Rod and Reel site and there they were! I called to be sure they were in stock. Marshall took my name and number and promptly called me back with the boot in hand and gladly measured the bottom of the boot for me to be sure it would fit! Later that day, Marshall provided me with a tracking number and my boots were here in just a few days. Could not have asked for a better shopping experience!

The PLACE to go in South Florida for excellent customer service and gear. They have all the major brands of reels and rods in stock, great selection of equipment and customer service and fishing advice and recommendations are top notch. Prices are competitive and not inflated. Don't waste your money at big box stores like Bass Pro. Give this local shop a go, you won't be disappointed.
