From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we were treated like royalty from the entire staff. I had asked for special arrangements to be set up in our room prior to arrival and they were done exactly as requested. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a private patio where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The pool and hot tub were easily accessible and pristine. The restaurant has a very fine menu and the food is deliciously prepared. The wait staff at the restaurant is very attentive and also knowledgeable about the extensive wine list. The beach butler service is most convenient. The front desk staff is also very helpful and congenial. Marco (the person of all trades at The Escalante) is indispensable and helped us multiple times daily at a moments notice. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone visiting Naples or locals in Naples wanting a romantic getaway!

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. Their attention to superb service, outstanding accommodations, delicious cuisine and exquisite grounds is something I haven’t experienced since visiting Europe. You will not be disappointed.

This is a very pretty property in a great location. I didn't get to eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice. But it is not a good option for a solo female traveler because there is no one on site after 10:00 pm and it's dark and confusing to find your room if you get in after 10:00, plus it's motel style so the rooms face onto the street which doesn't feel secure particularly with no one on the premises. You should also know the following before you go: 1. no in room coffee and no place to get coffee on premises before 8:00 am. 2. Only one small bottle of water in the room. 3. if you get there past 10:00, there is no staff on site at all. They leave a map on the door that I found difficult to read and you have to stumble around in the dark trying to find your room--you have to walk down a dark, narrow cobblestone path with your luggage and as a woman traveling alone it made me feel uneasy. 4. No place to charge your phone in the bedroom--there are outlets but they are behind bedside tables and in use. 5. They don't provide you with the wifi password if you check in after 10:00 pm--this would be such an easy thing to do and it just shows they don't really think about the little touches. 6. the curtains don't really block out the light in the am. On a more positive note, the rooms are kind of older and a little dated but very spacious, and they have nice patios which lead to the pool. If you plan to arrive before 10:00 pm and you don't wake up early and want coffee and you don't need more than one bottle of water that night and you don't mind not having wifi or a place to charge devices or having a lot of light come in your room in the morning, it really is a very nice property, it just wasn't a good fit for my needs right now.

I usually don’t like to go over the top but this place was superb. Great facilities, right in the heart of town but it still felt like a peaceful haven. A short walk to the beach although the outstanding staff take you by buggy. Highly recommend.

We had the most fabulous stay the hotel Escalente. It’s a great boutique hotel with beautiful scenery and outstanding service. Marco, Anna and Holly were exceptionally wonderful. Marco took us to the beach in the golf cart and made sure we always had ice. We ordered lunch from the restaurant and Marco delivered it to the beach. He’s a gem! You don’t often find the level of service he provides. We had breakfast every morning on our patio. It was truly amazing! One of the top 3 places I’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to go back!

Our second stay at Hotel Escalante and love this place even more! Well appointed, spacious, quiet room, excellent staff, beautiful pool area, convenient to beach (they take you there on their golf cart) and wonderful poolside restaurant. This truly is ‘a hidden gem in Naples!
