We love staying at the Residence Inn Naples. This is the third year we stay for a month. The staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The management make rounds daily at breakfast to make sure any problems are resolved quickly. My one maintenance issue was resolved quickly. The rooms are cleaned/refreshed every other day. I like the one bedroom.

Excellent location with friendly staff and overall good breakfast choices. Only weakness is that the rooms are very old and in desperate need of refurbishing. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and did a good job of cleaning. Prices are very high but overall area is expensive at this time of year. Location is very good and central to the Naples area. Security is excellent too. Manager advised us that hotel is scheduled for a complete renovation later this year. We paid over $400 per night including taxes and breakfast. Fancier places are available nearby but are priced from $700-1500 per night. Overall a good value considering its location and time of year. Once its renovation is complete, this place should reflect its Marriott quality more fully.

Not a nice hotel. Our room was not very clean and had an unpleasant odor. The tub was stained, air conditioner was noisy, window blind cord was broken so could not be opened. Upon entering the hotel you were hit by a strong perfumed smell. If ever in Naples again, we would definitely not stay here.

Very outdated and dirty. The room smelled so bad. We asked for a change of room due to the odor and they were very accommodating. But after the room deodorizer wore off the second room smelled just as bad. Like dirty laundry. Tried to stick it out but ultimately had to check out two days early. Could not stomach the smell. it’s too bad because the location is great and the staff was wonderful. But yikes the place needs a serious renovation or at the very least a deep deep cleaning

I had booked a room for 2 nights but ended up staying only one. The room was absolutely filthy—there was vermin, mold in the bathroom, dirty windows that you could barely see through, and dirty dishes in the kitchen. Everywhere there were stains and dirt on the carpet, bed, and sofa. Everything was disgusting and gross. In the bathroom, ants were all over the sink, infesting my things. I saw two cockroaches on the wall at night and couldn’t sleep in a bed with stinky sheets. It was horrible! The rest of the place was just basic American-style. The only positive aspect of my stay was the friendly lady at the reception and at breakfast.

Place had great bones with pool area and decent location. Exterior looks good but the interior is ages and failing. Housekeeping and desk service great but the breakfast was better at Fairfield. Just disappointing coffee and food

I wouldn't stay here again.
Pros: Front desk was friendly
Cons: building/rooms are dated, bathrooms were not clean (ex shower had hair in it), as others noted there's a musty smell. On our second night we came back and the smell was very strong- musty mixed with secondhand smoke, it was disgusting. Windows are drafty so noise isn't blocked out.

I don't fault the hotel for this but wish we knew ahead of time there was a middle school/ high school football championship or games going on. The pool and rec areas were taken over and kids either running the hallways or just laying in the hallways outside rooms.

We were looking for a place to relax after working so this place wasn't a good fit for that.

The first room we were in had water on the floor. the room smelled so bad the pine tree cleaner could not mask the smell. The floor was disgusting. We went to the front desk and we were moved to another room which smelled even worse. We left without spending a minute more at this hotel. So disappointing- Marriott has always been a company with high standards.
