Naples Grande Beach Resort - Naples, Florida

It was our fourth visit in a row to Naples Grande and we had a great time. We love the location as it is close to all the restaurants and shops but still quiet.

The staff there are fantastic and really make the experience special. In particular, Everton was incredibly helpful. He made sure we could find chairs around the pool and was always friendly. Sara and Leslie were two servers who were very nice and welcoming to us. Alexa made our dinner reservations and did a great job. Betsy in the spa was fantastic as was the lady in the coffee shop.

Our only constructive criticism would be that the rooms could use a bit of an update. For example, the desk chair in our room was ripped and some of the furniture looks old. Also, Catch of the Pelican restaurant was fantastic but it would be great to have more gluten free choices on the menu at the pool and at the coffee shop.

We booked a day using Resort Pass. It was a fabulous day for all! The scenery is clean and very tropical. The cocktails are tasty and had a decent amount of alcohol in them. It was a very relaxing atmosphere! If you want to use the adult only pool get here early to get a chair. Pro tip-Use the parking garage and take the ticket to the spa to get it validated so parking is free!

Overall very nice stay. Came down from NJ for a quick getaway with our son who was home for Spring Break. Would definitely recommend this resort to friends. The grounds are very nice. Great pool area with ample chairs and umbrellas. Beach access was convenient. The trams they provide to the beach were great but still walkable. Enjoyed the firepit areas at night. The pizza station was a hit as well. The staff were all very pleasant and made for an enjoyable stay.

We loved the resort! It was beautiful! Loved walking on the boardwalk and on the beach! The food was delicious and the bartender was friendly! I would most definitely recommend this resort to friends and family and stay again. Only 15 minute drive to Old Naples

Great property. Great Location. Great Food and Service. Nice beds. Good size rooms. Parking was easy. Not a lot of hidden fees or hassles you might expect at a large property like this. In my opinion it’s better than the Ritz and a much better value.

First time we’ve stayed here and it was a wonderful experience. We appreciated the beautiful Christmas decorations both indoors and outdoors. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The key to our experience, however, was your staff. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and attentive in an authentic way. From the desk clerks, to the nice older gentleman that was in the lobby to answer questions and offered to take our picture in front of the tree, to the valets and waitstaff in the Aura restaurant and lobby bar, to the men driving the shuttle to the beach—-all were super professional and friendly. We travel a lot and it’s uncommon to have such consistently high service in all areas of the resort.

I have now stayed at Naples Grande in both the rooms and the villas and can comment on both. As other reviews have mentioned the entire hotel is in need of an update. The rooms and villas are all very dated and feel like hotels for. The 90’s. A fresh coat of paint and new carpet would go a long long way. Hotel restaurant Mantra could stand for a change - Asian not that appealing to families and if going to be Asian offer more fresh sushi. The villas - if u r looking for more space that is the only and I mean only reason to book the villas. They feel dark and in need of some major TLC. I alone had to call maintenance 3 times for a 4 night stay. Self parking is much more convenient at the villas so that is something to consider. Soundproofing in both the rooms and villas is awful. If u have a room or villa with a connecting door - u will hear everything in the room next door and if they have a dog that doesn’t stop barking you will hear everything!!!! They r dog friendly and I love dogs - have one - but folks in vila next door had a dog that howled, yipped and cried the entire time they were gone from room - one morning it lasted for 2 hours. One evening another 2 hours. Restaurant staff very friendly, front desk not so much. Didn’t explain resort credits when checked in, didn’t tell us they put us next door to people with a dog - offered no solutions to barking dog and we were miserable the first night. Their dog policies need to be worked out. They continue to be so popular bc there are very few hotels with direct access to the beach and beach service. Clam pass park is right there and shares shuttles with Naples Grande - stay elsewhere and drive over. Hotel pool is great for kids and packed with families, adult pool jammed. Villa pool quieter and all can access. For the price I would expect better service for sure. After so many calls you would have thought a manager or someone would have followed up but nope nothing. When checked out told them about an unresolved maintenance issue in the villa. Staff could have cared less,

The room and the view were very nice to come back to following a full day of meetings. I also enjoyed walking around during breaks and seeing how beautiful the resort is and how well it is maintained. The resort team was very nice and always willing to assist when needed.
