I've only positive things to say about McHales. Martin and his wife are great people who are very knowledegeable about cigars and have great prices. Plus, they always have something that is hard to find at the big shops. This is a rare and true gem of a shop.

Favorite shop in town. Has been my go to spot anytime I get the hankering for something new for my sword/knife collection, not a cigar smoker but Im sure they're great. Never had a complaint with an item I've got from them an I've found myself in there a lot of the years. Lots of love for the owners, some of the nicest people you'll meet. Now I wanna go spend some moneyyyyyyy

A real cigar shop with a great selection. Very reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff. Visiting family nearby and decided to stop in. Wasn’t expecting this gem in Live Oak. Will put to shame other cigar shops in larger towns.

This shop I found by chance a few years ago. I'm a pipe smoker, well I call it Santa Clause syndrome, as I smoke primarily during cold weather. I used to smoke my own 'blend', two cheap otc tobaccos for the room note . Which one of the two is no longer available.
I smoke a pipe because it brings back fond memories but more for the enjoyment of others. McHales has 'Quality' tobacco on the shelf from some of the oldest suppliers that is fresh. Not bulk bags of dried seemingly floor sweepings. I smoke a quality Black Cavendish strictly. One time, McHales was sold out of this, upon recommendation by the owner I tried another choice. Was spot on flavor wise but I didn't get the multiple compliments at the dog shows. However the owners are extremely knowledgeable . So much so I tried a cigar ( not my thing) that I really enjoyed, but it just isn't a pipe.
If you are looking for a 'REAL' smoke shop with quality pipe tobacco, pipes, cigars and accessories your search is over. Also they a have unique 'stuff'' for sale .
Just take my word for it, you will enjoy the experiance . The owners complete that experiance of a quality shop. Something I'd thought was a thing of the past, thankfully McHales has shown me my error.

A little bit of everything in this cigar shop. They have a well stocked humidor and a lot of cigar accessories. There is a room in the back to enjoy your cigar selection. Had a good conversation with the owner about cigars
