Tony Crews was great. Thanks, Tony, in all your help through our tough time.as you know we were involved in an accident where this lady pulled out in front of us - No way to miss her. Both our cars were totalled. Allen did the estimates for State Farm ( her insurance) and he was very very helpful as well. When it was clear our truck was totalled, we decided we needed to just buy a new Chevy High Country so we could pull our camper back to East Tennessee. Tony helped us every step along the way. He even made a special trip to our campsite at Hart Springs to bring us the temp plate and pick up some papers from us. Also,the lady who helped us finalize the financial side was very friendly and helpful. This dealership is great. I highly recommend it to others.

The truck speaks for itself, but the customer service between Tony and then Jamie in the finance office was SUPERIOR!!! Not often you can go on a lot and NOT BE HARASSED!! I bought a 2025 Silverado 3500HD from Big Bend Chevrolet in February 2025, working with Michael (42 years as a salesman). As a small tire and automotive business owner in Alaska, here’s my experience:

1. The truck was advertised with under 10 miles but had nearly 500 on the odometer when I arrived. Not a deal-breaker, but disappointing.

2. It’s a fleet truck with an aftermarket flat bed, and the up-fitter switches came partially installed (relay box and wiring in a bag). Michael nearly removed these parts while showing me the truck —only left them after I pointed it out. With his experience, he should know better.

3. After wiring payment directly to their bank, they insisted on mailing the MCO instead of handing it over—another hassle.

4. Hours after driving off, the truck’s batteries were completely dead by 4 a.m., stranding my family and me at a hotel. Finding jumper cables and returning a rental car late was VERY disappointing.
I told Michael, who said he’d pass it to his GM, Dishon—no real resolution yet.

5. After days of jumping it and using a booster pack, I replaced the dual batteries myself ($700+). For a brand-new diesel truck, this is ridiculous.
I sent an invoice for the batteries—still waiting to see if they’ll step up.

6. The truck runs fine now; however, there’s a check engine light on that I still need to clear out.

This was a terrible experience. Transparency and prep were lacking. Buyer beware.

I cannot recommend Big Bend Chevrolet in Chiefland enough. Dishon and Tim are amazing to work with. I was in a situation where we needed a larger vehicle and they made it happen. I am a life time customer now. They also helped my mom get into a larger car to meet her needs. I recommend anyone to do business with them. They care about their customers like family. Very professional. Timely service. EASY to do business with. Forget the days of dreaded car shopping. The entire team is a breeze to work with. If you are in the car or truck market please go visit them. They will treat you like family.
