Took my $350 security deposit for not replying to reservation verification email so they canceled my reservation. I called when I was back home from an out of state hospital due to emergency surgery to pay the balance of my stay. They said the reservation was canceled and charged me the security deposit again of $350. They didn't rebook the condo to someone else but decided to take the $350 again? I will never stay here again. This is terrible.

Double charged $350 deposit for being hospitalized with emergency surgery out of state and not getting the reservation email. When I was back home and called for the final payment they canceled my reservation and charged me the $350 again.Even though they didn't book the condo to someone else they still wanted another deposit. I would have not rebooked if it wasn't for other people that already booked flights. Greedy company, do not recommend.

In response, if I had told Treasure Island about emergency surgery out of state it wouldn’t have made a difference. Unethical to double charge a deposit when the unit I booked wasn’t rebooked with someone else. It took the company 5 minutes to rebook the same condo including running the deposit again. Million dollar business against the small consumer. Good business.

We stayed in condo 906. We really loved the view and the beach chair setup. However, this condo needs to upgrade their mattresses as well as their living room furniture. It was sooo uncomfortable to sleep and relax on the couch. We stayed 6 nights and we were so exhausted due to not having good rest. There are only 4 elevators for a 23 floor building with 12 rooms on each floor. The elevators and lobby are extremely hot and had to wait sometimes up to 5 minutes or more for the elevator. The condo also needs to repair the dryer. Had to run it for over 90 minutes for small loads in order for it to dry. Spending over $4000 you would hope you wouldn't have these kinds of issues. We would not stay at Treasure Island again. If you are looking for a great view and dont care how you sleep this is the place for you. My son who is 21 didn't have good sleep either and he can usually sleep anywhere. Disappointed overall.

We were very disappointed in this condo(#1612). The wrap around balcony did not have but one high stop stool. When I inquired at the office I was told by the staff they had not replaced the furniture from the January 9th tornado. I rented the condo at the end of January and booked directly with the resort by phone. There was no mention of not having furniture on the balcony. ||The living room furniture is in desperate need of replacement. You sat down and sunk in making it difficult to get back up. The beds were very creaky and had plastic covers on them. The furniture needed to be dusted. TV’s were old, limited kitchen utensils, 7 towels for 7 people, 4 washcloths for 7 people.||This is the only negative review I’ve done on a condo. I paid $4,000 for 5 nights and explained higher quality.

Not the review I wanted to leave.
Upon check in, guest services who checked us in seemed highly medicated or extremely tired.
Condo we stayed in was very dated and not very clean.
Some things to note.

Dirty baseboards
Mold in showers
Sliding glass door tract full of dirt and debris
Master shower mold in corners
Guest bath- mold in shower and tub combo
Kitchen utensils- sparse, missing storage container lids, fridge not very clean.
Minimal guest towels for a 3 bedroom accommodation of 6 or more. Maybe 7 towels total for a 3 night stay. Had to re wash a few times to use.
Beautiful large end unit balcony with missing electrical cover plate, balcony rail missing screw and what looks like duct tape as either a reminder to fix or to cover issue.
Very dust blinds and dated curtains.
Floral Cloth couch needs to either be cleaned and free of stains or replaced. Common area rugs need to either be replaced to match other decor or cleaned professionally.
Outdoor common areas
Underground sprinklers just laying on top of ground, little to no maintained landscaping. Guest check in lobby 20-25 years dated. Staff working on duty were all very friendly that we ran in to on way to pool and beach.
This particular condo unit is in dire need of a good handyman and deep cleaning that would not cost that much to get it back to a level to accommodate future guests @ 540 per night.
A little updating & maintenance would go a long way here.
We would not chose this property in the future as I believe 540 a night would bring a much better experience & place to vacation.
Thank you.

Not the best experience.|We have stayed here a few times. This trip we stayed in condo 101. We chose 101 to have direct access to the pool deck and outdoors. The inside is furnished well. The exterior is being refurbished, most likely due to the tornado in January. Our patio gate was blocked by the construction crew. Luckily, the storm damaged the metal fence surrounding our patio and there was a hole we could walk through..each condo has designated parking. Our spot got taken by a contractor a few times. One day we were told to just park somewhere else, in a spot without a number. Our 101 spot was the first spot in the parking garage. Poor management in my opinion.
