Dr. Kang lacks bedside manners & exclusively provides very unpleasant experiences. Highly do not recommend! Dr. Kang is only interested in the patient paying at the end of the visit & rebooking. As this was the most he talked to me during the entire appointment. He was extremely dismissive and did not provide me any answers or explanations regarding the treatment as acupuncturists tend to do, or anyone in a health related field. It was a very disorienting experience as during the treatment itself, Dr. Kang is rough and rowdy. He will burst into the room startling you midsession. The whole session was a complete waste of time and money. I honestly have a hard time believing the positive reviews on here as there wasn’t even a semblance during my entire experience. This was seriously an uncomfortable experience!

I am 58 and I’ve been going to Dr. Kang for nearly 10 months. He has helped me with my sleep, constipation, vagus nerve and lymphatic system. I also did acupuncture face lift and was pleasantly surprised. I have had two other acupuncturists and none compare. Dr. Kang has his own style of practice and I really appreciate his willingness to have flexible schedule. My husband also goes to him for general overall health.

I will start by saying that I don’t entirely agree with the reviews saying that he’s “great” & his treatments are “ extraordinary” as I have definitely had way better experiences and improvement after even 1 visit with OTHER acupuncturists. I will also add that his (Dr. Kang’s) bedside manners are extremely piss poor and it’s very awkward. I have been to a couple acupuncturists in the past, but I must say that this was by far the most uncomfortable experience. Dr. Kang is very dismissive, not very communicative or patient either. Any questions that you have will not be answered. Dr. Kang rushes you during the appointment & is very abrasive, unapproachable, and a bit off putting. The ambiance in the room is also not relaxing as he leaves bright fluorescent lights on and in the middle of treatment will aggressively burst into the room and make a startling ruckus repeatedly. Most of his interest in the visit is at the end of the visit where he is more interested in booking you and charging you quickly. I do not recommend wasting your time at this office as there are more compassionate providers with better bedside manners.

I recently had a peroneal nerve issue with one of my legs. I was seeing an orthopedic physician and undergoing PT but the pain was significant. I decided to try acupuncture and a friend recommended Dr. Kang. I was impressed with Dr. Kang's thorough exam and his taking the time to obtain a thorough history of my issue. I had three sessions and the pain has subsided. This has allowed me to strengthen my leg and sleep. Dr. Kang is exceptional and I would recommend him if you are in a similar situation.

Dr. Kang has done wonders for my health. Initially I went in for heart burn/stomach issues. Since that has cleared up, we’ve also addressed headaches, knee inflammation and improvement on digestion. You will also have the BEST nap of your life. Dr. Kang is super nice and knowledgeable as well!

I'm not sure why my experience was so different from other reviews. As a healthcare worker, I would never treat a patient the way I was treated. The bedside manner is very poor. He doesn't explain anything he does and when he is going to do it. He asked me a question when I was face down and I turned my head to speak to him. He sternly reprimanded me and pulled my head up by my hair and put my head back down. He was aggressive with positioning. I couldn't imagine a woman with any abuse history responding well to this. His treatment is effective, but unfortunately is not worth it.

After not being able to sleep for days, while dealing with the effects of bronchitis I found Dr. Kang’s office and he has helped me get rest and feel much better overall. He has been kind and patient as I asked many questions prior to my first acupuncture visit (I have never tried acupuncture). His office is clean and inviting.

If only I had met Dr. Kang sooner! Thank for your hard work and for caring about your patients.

What can I say, well I forgot what it was to go living without pain, just my normal day stuff like buttoning your pants. I am an electrician by trade for over 30 years. I just couldn't take time off for surgery on my hands because recovery time was 6- 8 weeks per hand. Well make long story short I was blessed to go with Dr. Kang I just finished my second session and I am so happy, my first session I was happy and surprised. I will go see him for future issues.
