Every other Publix I shop at would honor the Publix promise, and not run over and remove BOGO tags as soon as they see someone questioning the items that are displayed in the lobby. Very poor choice of action of customer service, and not the way George would have wanted customers treated....

It's a bit more respectable than Walmart. Better but, smaller selection of food, the store is well kept and the staff are of a higher quality than most other stores of it's like. Expect to pay more due to the higher quality but it won't break the bank to shop there.

Was our store, our go to store BUT there is a young woman in the deli who has some issues. Our 1st encounter with her:Going to the counter, she was cutting meats but NEVER acknowledged my husband and I. We literally just was standing there. So, we proceeded to go down to where they make sandwiches (before we did my husband was like she's not going to say anything either watch, a different worker) the young lady saw us but she kept doing what she was doing. We left an found a manager (Collin). We explained to him what happened. He apologized and walked us back to the deli meats counter. The 1st lady we encountered spats off, "I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING AN ORDER WHEN THEY CAME!" For me, you seen us BUT never acknowledged us. A simple, "Give me a moment, let me finish this order and I'll be right with you!" Now she has an attitude. What I wanted as far as him telling her she still ignored us and what he was telling her to do. She gave me what she wanted me to have. Fast forward, we went in yesterday same lady. She was doing the inventory on the meats. We walked up, she looked at us, no nothing. She kept doing what she was doing. No acknowledgement just as if we weren't there. Instead of an argument or me getting irate, went and found another manager and explained to him our 1st experience with her and the 2nd now. We never gave her an ounce of attitude or anything. We were lost at how she acted BOTH times. I truly hope whatever it is thats bothering her she give it God. I know things can be rough but it shouldn't follow you in your work environment. If you get a customer service job, do as follow and take care of your customers the right way. You see them, greet them, and so on. If you don't want to deal with the public, find another job in store behind the scenes or something. Also companies hire people just to cover a position. They're not worried too much about how the company is represented by that individual/people The manager Michael did assure us, that if we have another issue, to contact him.

We went to Publix tonight and Sandra was on Register 4. She is always so friendly. If we see her we usually will wait in her line. She really cares about her customer's, even telling me about a coupon in the paper by the door for an item I had bought. Times are tough and every dollar counts! She is the sweetest!

Went to the deli it was about 8:15 PM was told they’re closed. We only have two people working one that is not my problem. The store is open until 9 o’clock. Serve people until 9 o’clock. I couldn’t get what I needed from the deli it would’ve took them five minutes to get me what I needed. The deli part wasn’t clean. I needed some black forest ham and some turkey and again that part of the deli was not clean up yet so it’s not like they would’ve been turning around and getting it dirty because they already cleaned. This is pretty poor customer service if I could give a zero star for the deli I would.

Ordered 50pc wings for an event a day in advance. They called ONE hour before the time that they were supposed to be ready for pick up to inform us that their delivery didn’t arrive and that the order wouldn’t be fulfilled. After speaking with Kenneth, the store manager, it was obvious that no one really cared and that it wasn’t a priority to fulfill any customer satisfaction. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not depend on Publix of Hueytown unless you have a backup plan.

It's always clean and the employees are always nice. I'm thankful to still be able to see kindness in such a dark world. It's a rarity for sure. Keep up the good work!
