This store is so great! It has such an eclectic mix of products crafts and art. I could pursue the shelves for hours exploring the merchandise, vintage fixtures, and Memorabilia. My boyfriend bought me some wonderful cake pans, some cast iron pans, and some super cool Huntsville themed coasters. The staff is really nice, and were enjoyable to chat with as we were checking out. I will definitely be back to browse and spend!

Great historic place to visit. Found some really nice locally made scented candles. Wish they had more antiques, but have a lot of locally made products and souvenirs. Bit pricey but it supports a historical location and local artists so its worth it in the end.

Such a fun and interesting general store. The oldest in ALA when visitors are in town this is a must pop in. Right on the historic square and filled with local and regional artisan crafts, gifts and more.

From soaps to marbles you will be amazed at everything they have. The staff are half clerks - half docents so fun and filled with facts, tidbits and info on Huntsville and the store.

This is just as much a tourist attraction as it is business. You’ll be delighted at their selection and leave knowing a little bit of history of Huntsville too.

Stop by the visitor's center in Huntsville and grab a scavenger hunt list of items to find here! You get to take home a prize. You will find unique gifts here, hand blown glass marbles, artwork, baking supplies, tools, and very cool antiques to check out. You might be so lucky to find a Huntsville Lucky Duck right outside too, just look up. ?

The oldest Hardware store in Alabama. Staff super friendly. They kept a lot of the old decor and things so it looks like an old school shop. Good for souvenirs and products from local artists

A neat store. Half of it is clearly still embracing the original store. Kind of neat to see the elevator and old bins full of nails. But their merchandise is a mixture of 50% novelty gifts and 50% local arts and crafts. That being said the local art was cool and some was priced very reasonably. My wife and I even found the perfect "key bowl" which we'll always remember our visit by when we return home to Virginia. Definitely worth a quick or not so quick stop, although I wish they offered at least some hardware of some kind for sale.

Fun place to show the kids what stores used to be like. Love the selection of items they sell now as well. Hope the store stays open another hundred years.
