Rad shop and very helpful staff!! I had been on the search for a bicycle suiting my needs.. something light and capable of handling city commuting, with my main intent to hit the trails on the weekends. I had no personal experience with newer bicycles since my last bicycle left my life many years ago.

Going into the shop I was able to get multiple recommendations fitting a range of different styles and price points. I noticed they actually listened to my needs and didn’t drown me in options or sell me on something unfit for my goals. So far I’ve had my bike for a few months now and I’m so happy I pulled the trigger. During the break in period I had a lot of questions about the bike and how to set the shock to my preferences, which they were quick to help me with. The crew here knows what they’re doing!! Highly recommend Neighborhood Bicycle Shop—for all skill levels!

The staff here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! I don’t know much about bikes, but they took the time to patiently explain everything and answer my questions without ever talking down to me. Their professionalism and approachability made the whole experience so much better. I’d highly recommend this shop to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced cyclist!

I’ve been cycling for more than 50 years, and I’ve been in lots of bike shops, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a shop with the high standards of service, expertise and product quality that I’ve found at Neighborhood Bicycles.
Owners Chad and Sarah Shanks are both cyclists. Chad is a USCF licensed category 2 rider who has been racing for decades across the country and Sarah is a former Texas state champion mountain bike racer. There isn’t much they haven’t done, seen or learned about.
And as far as I can tell, every day is a good day at Neighborhood, because they are in a great mood and friendly every time I walk through the door. And they treat everyone with the same courtesy and attention, whether it’s a mom trying to get a flat tire fixed for her daughter or a guy looking for some gentle hands to repair his $10,000 road bike.
If you love quality, expertise, real world experience and service as much as you love cycling, then you should stop by Neighborhood. You’ll be glad you did.

If you are just starting out on your biking journey like I currently am, look no further. This shop is owned by an extremely sweet and knowledgeable couple who truly care about their customers. I very recently had my bike fitting and had an excellent experience. They all made me feel so welcomed and comfortable, especially Sara. I highly recommend this amazing bike shop for all bikers.

Took my Old Giant Into Neighborhood Bike shop to see if they could fix it up from being retired. New Ultegra, bottom bracket, cables, brakes, new bars, new sealant in tires. Super friendly, helpful and Wow all the new bikes they have on display to dream about!
This will be my Go To LBS!!

My bike needed new brake pads. Came into this shop with one of my break pads in hand. First of all, this bike shop is lined with high-end e-bikes. Anyway the teller refused to look at the brake pad in hand and insisted on looking at the bike outside in person. I'm like okay.. At first sight of my bike, a Walmart bike I should add, the teller referred us to another bike shop. All I needed was some brake pads of the same type as my bike. It turns out the shop HAD the brake pads I needed but was going to refer us to a different bike shop anyway. Had to convince them to just sell me the brake pads alone so I could get the job done. Also, the allen wrench set they tried to sell me was $40.. I got a pack for $4 at walmart instead. Needless to say, this bicycle shop is no "neighborhood" bicycle shop. If you're a college student like me with a walmart bike or other affordable bike, I don't recommend going here. They might just turn you away unless you have one of their expensive e-bikes. The name of this shop is absolutely misleading. I'll never be back.
