One of my favorite spots when I lived in Rickreall, now one of my favorite spots when I am driving through Amity or see one of their tasty seasonal waffles on Instagram. Looove their chai, they have many seating area options, but my favorite spot is around the bar. Staff is always so nice & conversational. Also, gluten free options are great!

Very cute little homey place with an open bar around the kitchen and excellent menu items. I had the warrior waffle which was savory. My sister had the Elvis, which was sweet. That way we each had a bite of the other and were able to share.
I didn’t think one waffle would fill me up, but it certainly did! Highly recommend coming out here to visit this cute little place and have a bite to eat, a cuppa coffee, or a chai. They also serve lunch as well.

3/2025 Changed rating to 3 stars because the warrior waffle is not as good as it once was. Trying different menu items.

This is the 2021 Melt Down sandwich which would make a great year-round breakfast.
There is a heated patio for dining in this Covid time.
2023 update. This continues to be a favorite. We go here about once a month.
2023.10 Just had the special Glazed Pumpkin waffle! This is a very good and light waffle. Would get this again. Amazing staff as usual.
2024 still a favorite place for our grandchild.

Everyone really enjoyed this place. Lots of great options for food and coffee. The group favorite was their chicken and waffles a must try , excellent 👌. Will definitely be returning to try more of their broad menu.

$21.25 for a half of a waffle made into Eggs Benedict, 3 orange slices, and a pile of arugula (for some reason), and a small mocha. This is probably the most expensive breakfast I've ever had. Food is good, but holy cow.

Since moving to Oregon, I’ve visited the Common Cup at least a dozen times, and it’s an absolute gem. This place has it all—incredibly friendly staff, fantastic coffee, and waffles that are out of this world. I can’t sing its praises enough! Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee to-go or settling in for a leisurely chat over a delicious waffle, you’re guaranteed to leave happy. Highly recommend this spot—it never disappoints!

Turkey pesto sandwich was outstanding, mocha was great and not to sweet. The owner working the counter was friendly. Prices are lower than most coffee shops. Looking forward to returning for waffles.
