Update: within this entire interaction I received only one phone call from amity truck and tractor asking me to purchase a new engine and have it sent to them. Every other communication was initiated by me in an effort to find out what was going on with my tractor. It sat for 6 months waiting a month in between calling, each time they tried to re-assure me that it would get done. At the end of this six month period my tractor was exactly how I left it at their shop. All they ever did was remove a connecting rod bolt, and left it in the oil pan. They did no other work whatsoever, and they were tasked with doing an engine repair or replacement.

I find it humorous that these businesses think they can make up whatever story they want, never trust the business owner replies.

Update 2: looks like someone else had the exact same experience that I did, amity truck and tractor needs to get their act together for sure.

In 6 months they could not source an engine and held onto my tractor continuously telling me that the repair of my tractor is ambiguous at best. When I originally dropped off my tractor I was told it wouldn’t be an issue and I’d just have to wait a while.
Instead they tried to make me responsible for finding all the parts necessary to repair my tractor and in the end charged me $300 for doing no work whatsoever.
They apologized to me and said “sorry but the mechanic who took your job has been fired and nobody here knows how to work on your tractor”
Do not come here if you want good service it seems they’ve fired their only good mechanic and no longer care about making money.
I would have spent around $8000 with them but instead they held onto my tractor for 6 months neglecting to tell me that they’re unwilling to fix it only to charge me for $300 in storage.

Had a great experience! Brought in my 91 F-250 that I got from some friends, and had been sitting for a few years. They went through it and gave a comprehensive bid on what needed to be done to get it ready to tow horses. Truck runs great, and Crystal gave outstanding service all through the process.

There are some nice people there, but in the end, it is results that matter. The results of my 3 trips there, and in excess of $6400 working on the transmission of my tractor is a tractor that still won't move. Their first attempt at a fix lasted less than 20 operating hours. Attempts 2 and 3 lasted less than 5 minutes each. Now they want to excuse this with it is an old tractor not worth fixing.

I am very impressed with how clean this shop is. Excellent prices and amazing staff!
I had a real hiccup with my vehicle and I needed synthetic motor oil asap. I drove to the gas station who told me that they do not carry synthetic oil but suggested that I check out this little shop.
I drove over and they were closed. As I was driving out of their driveway, a friendly man asked if he could help me. I told him my situation and help opened up the shop for me. I was shocked, impressed and thankful! He even filled up my oil for me. Now that is service!!

Repairs on light trucks, heavy duty trucks, tractors and equipment. They fixed up my 77 Powerwagon for me. And the new retail area is amazing! Nice array of merchandise, they probably have what you need. If they don't have it they can get. Might save you a trip to McMinnville a time or two.

An extremely helpful staff!.... Knowledgeable in every field of their business and then some!... I used this shop once in emergency tow in, they got right on it and got me back on the road with a swiftness!..... My go to shop from now on! Fair rates considering that most are ridiculously high right now, if you can even get in at all at other shops!
