We came in with a fit issue and walked out with a solution. Nathan was (is) amazing. For the first time, in a long time, we felt like someone genuinely wanted us to resolve our issue. And not just sell us something.
Nathan spent so much time with us, explaining all the pros and cons of our possible solutions. And ultimately, we walked out with a bicycle that was so much more comfortable than we ever thought it could be.
Later that day, I rode my bicycle, and have never felt more comfortable in the saddle. And it’s all because someone cared enough to spend the time to find the proper solution.
If I ever need anything else for my Bicycle, this is the place I’m going to, and nowhere else.

This is now the fourth bike I have purchased through the handlebar, and the second for my son. And this is for good reason. The rogue valley has many bike shops, all with qualified mechanics and great bikes. But the handlebar has created something very different and truly special. They are not concerned with selling you the most expensive high end bike they have.
What they want is to help you find the bike that's right for you. If you have the technical expertise to talk shop, so do they but if you don't they will ask you question after question and meet you where you are at to find you the perfect bike, because what they want is for you to absolutely love riding your bike.
But that is not the only reason I continue to come to the Handlebar for all my family's bike needs. What makes this shop special is how much they actually care to connect with you.
I have lost count now how many times my son and I have showed up at the shop before or after a ride, unannounced, with something going on with our bikes and the guys pop it up in the stand and fix the issue and have us on our way without cost but with a hug and stoke. No question is too dumb or time consuming - they love to teach and talk bikes with you. In a potentially intimidating sport with a plethora of shops to choose from, the guys at the handlebar have created a shop that is not just technically masterful, but also inviting and accessible. When you buy a bike, you also buy the shop. I can not recommend the handlebar enough. My daughter is next!

The best bike shop I’ve ever been to! Very welcoming, helpful and friendly mechanics who made me feel so comfortable asking questions and learning more about my bikes and their maintenance needs. It’s a rare thing in the bike world to be so warmly welcomed as a woman in a new bike shop and this place has my business forever due to that first impression.

What can I say, these guys rock. Doesn’t matter if you are local or just a day tripper they will treat you like family. They have some of the most knowledgeable bike geeks in Oregon and will go out of their way to help you and will talk bikes for hours if you let them. Excellent selection of top notch bikes for sale both mountain, electric and road, also plenty of demo bikes and parts available.

One of the best parts of being a cyclist is the great people in the industry. The staff at Handlebar, Ben, Sam are some of the best we have met in our travels. Their product knowledge is second to no one, and to top it off they are professionally trained techs. You will be amazed at the bikes from Trek, Rocky Mountain, Santa Cruz, as well as custom builds. Sorry if this sounds like an advertisement, but you don't often find stores this great. You owe it to yourself to check them out.
