Super chill staff and great selection. The amount of magic boosters is super fun and at a really competitive price. The only downside is that some of the accessories seem to come from cheap third party sellers like temu. However all mtg content seems to be legit and at a really good, competitive price! With a really nice selection!

All these one star reviews are really crazy sounding and whatnot but I haven't had a bad experience here and I've been going for a few months. Good collection of Pokémon cards but it could use more Magic stuff. The staff are pretty chill and easy to talk to. There is a lot of Funko Pops if you're interested in those and they also have boardgames and merch items. 👍

I wish this store was great because it's the only card store locally. But every time I go, I'm disappointed. Customer service is lacking. They are the least engaging people I've ever met. It's never enjoyable to come in. Sealed product isn't MSRP price which sucks. All their pokemon product (besides cards) are bootleg and overpriced. With better employees I could ignore all the other faults.

Brand new collectable store. Still stocking inventory at the turn of 2024. Many Hundreds of Funko Pops, Pokémon, and other collectable figures and games. The inventory packed into this store is simply amazing. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Great prices here coming from a Washington resident. We like to come here every time we visit Astoria. Bonsai Hollow has a REALLY good selection of sealed Pokémon and mtg sealed product, plus a lot of affordable options for dragon shield sleeves, deck boxes, and playmats. I personally recommend this place for pokemon sealed product as I think that’s where the best deals are.

This place is absolutely phenomenal and a gem on the coast for any card, board game, or just hobby enthusiast. Not only is there a massive inventory of selection of Funko Pops, Magic The Gathering, Pokémon, etc. but the owners are wonderful. They are incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure any newcomer feels welcomed. Prices here are also stellar. When I bought a couple of MTG things, the owner gave me a free pack of sleeves and two lands worth about $15 total for free. As someone simply visiting from Portland, this place is a must go if you ever take a trip to the coast!

If it weren't for the fact that I was visiting Astoria for a weekend, I'd be a regular at this shop! Bonsai Hollow is easily one of the top games and hobby stores in town, both for the variety of products they have, the friendly employees there, as well as the reasonable prices. MtG cards, pokemon merch, Funko pops, and even board games, and more are sold here. There's also free wifi, when I last visited which was a bonus.

There's almost everything sold here for all you gamers, nerds an geeks out there. I recommend visiting Bonsai Hollow!

It feels like the store is still getting it's land legs. There is a lot of random stuff from temu, but some customers who aren't looking for legit copies of a plush Pokemon won't notice sadly. The Magic and Pokemon cards behind the counter in sealed packages are legit however. It feels like the person stocking it isn't certain what to order and focus on. Presentation is poor in that staff are allowed to leave shelves of Funko Pops not organized or turned label-out, something that is basic at any other retail establishment. It's worth popping your head in because they do have variety, but if you're looking for classic games like Monopoly or puzzles, go over to Purple Cow Toys.
