This place is a mixed bag. It’s poorly run so the prices are all over the place. They do not throw out their old merchandise do you end up seeing the same stuff all year. The front desk isn’t friendly at all but they seem to be nice people. And it’s gross and needs to be cleaned. THAT BEING SAID this is an old school volunteer run thrift store so there doing the best they can. There are GEMS here and there if you look hard enough. They care about helping other people. So I guess I shouldn’t complain unless I am willing to volunteer and help out which I am not besides buying here once in awhile.

I happen to pop in on a sale day, everything was half off. The prices of things aren't always labeled, which provides opportunity for haggling. They are attentive, so if you are a browser this may be a bit annoying. Although, I do think too much attention is better than having none at all. Despite the shabby aesthetic, there are a lot of hidden gems and it's definitely worth a look. I ended up buying a dining room table for $15, which I thought was a really great deal.

They usually aren't very nice to me here anyways, but this time wasn't a very good experience at all. I came in and ended up finding a small terra cotta pot that was supposed to be for $0.50. When I went to purchase it, I asked if they were able to break a $20, after a small pause they said yes. I was fine with $1s but they only gave me back $18 which meant I spent $2 for the small pot, when they could have just told me they couldn't break a $20 and I would have come back with $0.50. Honestly. doesn't make any sense, but I won't come back either way, they don't seem to be lgbtq+ friendly.

Not sure if it was just that day but it smelled bad in there. Not much for stuff in there. Seemed like there was higher quality stuff hidden away in the employee only back room. Front staff was talking loudly on the phone and ignoring everyone. Didn't stay long because again it smelled really bad.

The homeless shelter these people have to work for is awful. It is infested with bed bugs on a regular basis. I was homeless for a short time between jobs and have no criminal record and a education.

I was treated with the uttermost contempt by the staff members in this place while having to walk in circles around the sales floor in-between customers.Due to the fact that I am squeaky clean and have not been in and out of jail my entire life.

This place is a horrible ex con set up. Most of the people that work here have been in and out of jail there entire lives and have no people or job skills. They treat the employees with the worst kind of disrespect.

They are all smiles when they see regular members of the community come in to shop here. But once the seeing eyes and listening ears are gone its back to normal.

I thought I would write this review since bed bugs are transferable to clothing in case anyone thought about shopping here. Buyer beware.
