Great Asian store in the area. Reasonable prices. Aisles a bit narrow but has all basics Asian products.

I was recommended by the sweet people at 185th produce to come check this store out this evening. I never knew it existed! They had told me that this is the best place to get rice and it is fantastic! So I walked in with a mission to find this magical rice. I asked the sweet lady working the register and she showed me right to it. They were absolutely correct! It’s a huge difference from the rice I normally get. My 5 year old doesn’t even like rice and I can’t get her to stop eating this! They also told me about the spice selection. I didn’t have time to check it out but next time I’ll have more time and I want to see what else this hidden gem has to offer!

I was thinking of making a Vietnamese recipe that I found on the internet Bún bò Huế – spicy beef & pork Huế soup, so I came here to find all the ingredients I needed and did they had everything on the list and I even found some more cool and unique ingredients to make even more dishes. Since they have more than just Vietnamese Ingredients they also have item's from Thai and himalaya. I did get some more ingredients to try to make Coconut Curry Chicken. While checking out the cashier there was super nice, super friendly and really helpful. I would definitely recommend you coming to Viet, Thai and Himalaya Market.

Surprisingly there is a lots of product in this tiny shop. So I will definitely go back and shop there again. They have some unique spices abd noodle that I cannot find in other groceries. Friendly owners.

I've been here several times sporadically in the past several months, and almost every time, the lady at the register (it has been the same lady every time I was there) tried to charge me an extra time for an item here and there whenever I buy a large amount of items. Every time I've confronted her, she would always act like it was an accident or try to tell me that the charge was for something else I bought, since the receipts that print out don't tell you what each charge is for. During the times she would try to tell me that the charge was for something else I bought, I've had to carefully go through the math with her to show that she overcharged me, after which she reluctantly adjusted the charge.

I would not have held this issue against them if it only happened once or twice, but the fact that this has happened almost every time I've been there along with the degree of resistance I received from the cashier the last time this has happened makes me suspect that these incidents were no accident. Because I feel like I cannot trust the cashier here to charge me correctly, and because I am tired of the amount of grief I have to go through each time to make sure I get charged the correct amount, I will no longer be shopping here. But if you are still interested in coming here for the grocery selections they offer, make sure to double and triple check your receipts.

I get all my pho bowls and spoons here. I just got a new rice cooker there too. Works really well. Also we love their "hot" foods.
