A step below urgent care. Make the extra drive to any other hospital. You'll be seen sooner than at Silverton. Also, be prepared to be misdiagnosed, under treated, and looked upon like you're a problem instead of a patient.

This hospital has some major issues with their emergency department. Our triage RN was seething with anger when asked to do her job and loved to be condescending. The only time this delightful person seemed remotely happy, was when she could tell us NO. Registration seemed to pride themselves on doing nothing. I was speaking with a register at the front desk after being in the ED waiting room for over 2 hrs. Just asked a quick question and She said "excuse me but there is a patient behind you". That's all you need to know about Silverton Emergency Department. Sad because I personally know some people that work there and actually care.

I went to Silverton Hospital ER with severe abdominal pain that has been persisting for 3 weeks, and this was my first and last visit to this hospital! I will go to Stayton Hospital for my future hospital needs. The intake nurse who took my vitals was rude, not personable by any means as was the nurse who took me to my room. There was zero greeting like, good morning, or hello, nothin!!

Dr. Bohrer-Clancy didn't ask to examine my abdomen he literally just grabbed my stomach which was excruciatingly painful and said, "your stomach isn't hard at all", which is what I said it felt like initially. He had zero bedside manner and was not the least bit gentle.

They had me leave a urine sample which was still sitting in the exam room un-touched when I left. When I asked the nurse why they didn't test my urine she said, "oh, we always ask for a urine sample, but we don't' always test it". So, that I don't understand!

The doctor offered no explanation as to what could be causing my symptoms and said I need to follow up with my GI doctor and said, "let's get you home". Well, if this had been a weekday I would have called my GI doctor, but this was an emergency situation, so this visit was a complete waste of my time.

The x-ray tech was super nice!! I believe his name is Martin. He was so kind. He introduced himself and placed a warm blanket on the chair to wheel me to x-ray and stopped on the way for another warm blanket for my lap. This was the best part of the entire experience. The nurse who placed my IV was also very nice. The security guys were way nicer and far more pleasant than the actual medical staff. I'm only giving 1 star for the x-ray tech, and I would probably give 1 star for the security guys.

I wouldn't recommend Silverton Hospital to anyone!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hospital. I went in on 10/10 with severe pain, only to be sent home with a diagnosis of 'cramping.' Unfortunately, this diagnosis did not address the severity of my symptoms, and I ended up spending 4 ½ hours just to find out I was experiencing Cramping. The lack of empathy and professionalism from the staff was concerning, and I believe that patients should receive more thorough care when in such distress. If you value the health and well-being of your loved ones, I would strongly recommend seeking alternative care options. Silverton Hospital is not what it used to to be it is a paycheck for them and that’s it.

I went into Silverton Hospital today after a terrible Experience with the front desk people at Salem Hospital. Thank god I did! I was met with Dr Tyler J Witmer (PA-C) and (RN) Aaren, they were both God like! Very kind and caring individuals. Didn’t make me feel stupid for coming to the hospital as Salem Hospital has done every Visit I’ve ever had with them. I didn’t feel as if I was rushed through even though I was in fast track. They showed great compassion and ran the correct test’s.

Now to mention the remodel, This has been my first visit with Silverton Hospital since remodel. It looks absolutely beautiful and COZY. Round of applause to you guy’s on that!

A newly remodeled hospital that is now part of Legacy Medical Group. They have a cafeteria and a gift shop inside. The parking lot is small but there is a lot across the street as well

MOST USELESS PLACE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. My fiance has been gradually losing her memory, balance, and a plethora of other symptoms related to Wet Brain. The Triage nurse was the rudest person I'd ever met in my entire life and didn't take ANYTHING we said seriously. And then we get in and wait over 4 hours for the Doctor to come in and REFUSE to help us. I called multiple other places the following morning and they were all BAFFLED at the fact that they didn't at least do some simple blood tests. Went to Salem ER and they were more than happy to help. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. YOU WILL DIE before getting the help you need.

Would give zero if I could they gave me the most traumatic birth experience for my last baby. Doctors didn’t listen and the midwife was awful I would never recommend them. The ER also sent my 1 year old home with an oxygen level of 83% after testing positive for rsv and he almost died I took him to salem and they admitted him instantly. Would never again recommend silverton to anyone

This is my second review I have ever written. After my initial treatment my experience was terrible. Zero communication between ER and their own outpatient clinic for follow up. Ortho apparently can determine from my ED visit that I don't need immediate surgery but able to determine if I can work or not as I have not been seen by them yet. My appointment is 14 days out at which time they can tell me if I can work or not...

I spoke with the ED where I was diagnosed and a nurse told me "we don't write notes".

Sure the lines are shorter than Salem but if you or your family need continuing/follow up care I would avoid Legacy Silverton.
