This hotel completely exceeded expectations. We just needed an affordable spot to crash for 8 hours; the price was excellent and we hoped it wasn't dangerously seedy. Instead, the rooms were extremely nice! It's not a luxury hotel if that's what you need, but the rooms were well-appointed (little dining tables PLUS a workstation), pretty, and very comfortable. Comfy beds, really nice bedding and decor, and plenty clean. Even the toiletries were extra-nice! Highest recommendation for the price. It did not have to be this nice. I hope I get to stay there again.

This is a fairly inexpensive place right across from the Univ. of S. Oregon. I wasn't really expecting much, but my room was VERY comfortable... much more than one normally gets at this rate. Clean, great bed, and the heat worked well. And the staff was nice and responsive. I give them a 5-star not because it's a high-end hotel, but because I just have no complaints. I would for sure stay here again.

Near and clean well equipped rooms, friendly service, perfectly located in case one visits Shasta or California by drive. Perfect for stay and break. 360 view of mountains in Ashland, nestled right in the centre. Many breakfast/ lunch/ dinner options available from the Inn at walkable and drive distance. Gas stations too are within a 3 minute drive. The Flagship inn provides a basic breakfast spread until 10.30am. We loved it!
Do remember to call up at their front desk and intimate if you are reaching late around 9 pm and later. The front desk help was extremely sweet and available for us at 9.30pm. Plus the room we booked the keys wouldn't work (this happened twice) so we were upgraded to another twin room immediately!

The room was nice and clean, but the carpet was in need of extra cleaning . But it's Oregon, where it rains a lot, so I give it a pass. You can't keep carpets clean in conditions like that. On the other hand, they used indoor/outdoor carpet on the exterior walkways, and there were large holes which had obviously been there awhile. The carpet was rolled back around the edges and this presents a trip/fall hazard. The carpet should be removed and the concrete painted with a non-slip coating instead. Our stay here was quiet except for one person who arrived late and decided to hammer on something in his room and run in and out the door slamming it every time at 10 pm. There's always one who doesn't understand courtesy. Parking is a little tight if you have a big SUV or long bed truck. The spaces are barely wide enough for a normal car, let alone a big vehicle. It's away from the freeway, so no traffic noise. But you'll have to find it with your GPS or maps app. It has a small pool. And breakfast is served in the morning, but we didn't partake of it as we had to be on the road before they began serving. I would stay here again.

This is an older place on one of the main streets going into Ashland, which is a surprising distance away from I 5. This is definitely family run, as opposed to a Holiday Inn Express. The room was huge, the bed comfy and the neighborhood leafy, inviting for a walk. | | The lovely young lady at the desk made a batch of cookies in the afternoon and was helpful with our needs. | | This motel is still a mile away from Ashland's downtown, too far for us old folks to walk. It may be quite near the SOU campus..we couldn't tell.|| Frequently when I travel, I like to get going in the morning. Breakfast wasn't seved until 8 AM, which made for a late start. And it was just barely worth waiting for, muffins and bagels, mostly. But everyone was exceedingly nice and if you don't mind a late breakfast this is a very good value. jeff

This hotel is the best value in ashland in my opinion. The place is older, but rooms are clean and nothing was spared on the comfort of the bedding. Just love the beds and pillows. Breakfast is not good, I would skip that, all carbs.

Great place for the price. Clean, well maintained, great service, nice landscaping with roses and flower pots, great pool and deck area compared to similar motels. Standard complimentary breakfast but great coffee machine that made espressos and lattes. After 2 weeks of similar priced motels this one was a very pleasant surprise. Wish the others were more like this one.
