Quaint town, great offerings, will def be back. Whomever rides that Japanese 🚲🚵‍♀️ out front KUDOS! PROPS a rarity indeed and a pleasure to still see on the road! Quite the delightful surprise one kf many today!

Nice small grocery store with basic essentials. An emphasis on organic and plant based protein products. A few basic meat cuts such as steak, pork chops or lamb chops and basic side salads and some produce. This is not a big corporate grocer it's a family business. We bought a couple bacon wrapped pork chops for the grill since the steaks were sold out. Inventory is limited but quality was good. We stayed in a yurt outside of town and enjoyed our time in the area. I highly recommend the yurt which we found on airbnb. It is on a private setting with a large pond outside the yurt. The town was a great place to visit while on our road trip. There was a festival in the center of town and live music outside. Plenty of restaurants and a brewery and distillery in the area.

I used to love Melvins. At the moment the prices at this place are out of control. They are simply jacking up prices and offering expensive gourmet options for impulsive tourists. Good for Newport market. Bad for local residents. You can’t blame inflation on these prices.

I ordered a fruit, meat, and cheese platter from here and they did an amazing job! It was so fresh, especially the fruit with a wonderful selection of everything, large portions, and reasonably priced! Thank you we will be ordering this again from you all!

I've been a local for around a decade. I live a 3 minutes drive from this store and I'm so glad it exists. Yes, you will go broke if you buys all your groceries here. And, yes, half the time the store feels like a fire hazard because it's so packed with customers. But, for a tiny grocery store, they have almost everything, and most of the items they have are the very best versions of those items. Lastly, great wine and beer selection!
