The place was so busy because of annual quilt show. Great shop!

We look forward to going into this great quilt shop. They have a wonderful selection of fabrics. Colorful and beautiful. Some of the quilts hanging up are fun to look at. How amazing and time consuming it must of been to make them. Just beautiful! When you're in Sisters, don't forget to visit this understanding quilt store!

Thanks for making sure we didn't park in front of your store, saved us from going in to purchase anything. Hell of a business tactic.
After reading reviews it seams that you have a big people problem, so my experience was not out of the norm.
Response to you response: it wasn't about the no parking that is out of your control. It was about the way it was handled. If you want to encourage people to come in the simply say "I'm sorry the city does not allow parking here but there is parking in these other locations." that would have been better than running out to say "no parking here!" but you do you.

Tried to return a Christmas gift that was damaged when I opened it. The women insisted that the gift was not damaged when they sold it to my "son". My 72 yo husband bought it for me and I am 57. How they managed to remember one sale during the Christmas holiday, misattribute the purchase to my "son" and still insist we must have damaged it. All I wanted was to exchange the item for one that was undamaged. I ended up leaving the item and vowing to never return. Absolutely horrible customer service.

Updating my review a few years and many quilts later.
Be sure to understand policies, for some classes the cancellation period ends 45 days before the scheduled class date. The details are somewhat hidden at the bottom of the class supply lists. Even if there is a waitlist for the class, understand how that will be handled if you need to cancel outside the cancellation period.

This (new?) policy doesn’t quite feel like a 5 star experience.

I recently took the Quilting Bootcamp class - wonderful experience starting with shopping for the material! The class was informative and so much fun.
Everyone at the store is extremely helpful and friendly and goes the extra mile. I feel like I have not only learned the basics of quilting, but discovered a wonderful community I am becoming a part of. So great to have such a wonderful creative, spirited place close to home!
Adding pictures of my first two pieces I made during the class and following right after.
