Had a fantastic experience with Bridget on the Crooked River. She was an excellent guide, patient, and had helpful hints. We booked through Russ who was very communicative and helpful as well. Would go back in a heartbeat. The scenery was spectacular and we caught a lot of fish!! Ladies don’t be intimidated. Bridget will walk you through it every step of the way.

My wife and I took a half-day guided river fishing trip. We’ve never fly fished before. Josh and our guide “Fish” (not making that up) were awesome and welcoming to a couple of newbies. They’re obviously pros and are truly welcoming to people of all skill levels. We got out on the Crooked River and after a simple and effective lesson we were crushing it. No special gear required they’ll set you up!

Wow!! What a great time we had on our guided fly fishing excursion. Our guide, Tommy, was a super nice guy and very patient teaching the kids how to fly fish. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for giving us a great day on the Crooked River!

What a terrific place! As I travel through the north west, getting the right bait for the river I am fishing and the time of year is super important. Having someone like Josh help me get all the right baits and correct set up is crucial to a good day on the river. This store is terrific and not nearly as expensive as others. I’ll be back time and again.

Highly recommend using The Hook to take a guided fly fishing trip! My buddy and I fished two days with two different guides, Tommy on the Crooked River and Bridgett on the Fall River, and both were excellent. I was brand new to fly fishing and they were both helpful, educational, friendly and hardworking. Even though conditions weren't ideal, both guides put me right on the fish and we caught plenty, including the beautiful Red Banded Trout on the Fall. My buddy is a seasoned Flyfisher and he was impressed with both guides as well. Josh in the shop made the whole process easy. Great experience in every way!
