Went in yesterday and there was a lady working the cashier who was rude. She looked at the frozen octopus we got and kept giving the product and us a weird look implying that it was odd we were buying it. Really? Then she went on to say how she couldn't eat the tentacles.

If you work in a grocery store, learn customer service and make sure your cashiers are trained in it. And in general, learn how to mind your own business.

Everywhere you looked it was clean everything was well stocked and good selections on food

I visited the store a couple weeks ago and the cashier that took care of me didn't say one word to me during the entire transaction. I posted on here and shortly thereafter, the manager apologized and said they hoped I gave the store another try I decided to stop in to pick up a couple of quick things for dinner. The young woman I had as a cashier didn't greet me at all despite me saying "hello." The only thing she said to me, was that my card timed out in the card reader and try it again. Once the transaction was done, I wasn't offered a bag, and despite me saying "have a good day," I failed to receive a response.

This tells me that the culture of the store isn't very positive. Having one rude cashier could be considered one-off, but to have two tells me it's a pattern. As they say, the fish rots from the head. If i were a member of the store management, I would be thinking what i could do to.ensure customers have a positive experience.

If you're looking to have a professional and positive shopping experience, I highly recommend John Herr's Market in Millersville or Wegmans. I will never darken the doorstep of Giant anywhere again.

I ordered a chocolate cake with white buttercream icing. It looked beautiful but tasted awful. There was so much icing you could barely taste the cake. Look fir yourself. I will not order a cake from this store again.

Service at the deli is always slow. Currently waiting in line, one women is helping a guy with a large order while another women is just cleaning the slicers. Neither one acknowledged me.

Pretty nice store. Some of the associates are not friendly. It's clean and usually well stocked. The uscsn cashier used a calculator to figure out what the difference between $12.99 and $10 was and still got it wrong.

Great store...but one of my pet peeves is the customer service mindset a few cashiers exhibited tonight..the cross talk among the teenager's when customers are being checked out is most annoying. They seem like nice young kids who perhaps need a bit more training... the apparent manager also engaged in cross talk
