I have been so pleased with the service & friendliness of the staff! Very professional! Kim was so patient with me and helped me picked out my first pair of glasses. And the day I picked up my new glasses when I got home I was going through my bag and my favorite chocolate candy was inside! Just the best! Highly recommend!

Dr. Goldschmidt and her team are fabulous! From time I walk in until I leave everyone is smiling, helpful, polite and is always ready to offer advice, if asked. I have been their patient for over 15 years. Dr. G always takes the time to explain everything they need to do. She doesn't hesitate to make a referral to a specialist, if needed. She really cares about her patients and their vision. If you're looking for a vision care provider, Southern Focus is top shelf. I highly recommend them.

At Southern Focus you can trust that you are getting the best eye care with Dr. Goldschmidt. She’s very friendly and explains things to you as she does your exam. She is very knowledgeable and will give you a thorough assessment of your vision and eye health. I have been going there for years and would not go anywhere else due to the professional and detailed examination I get there. She’s the best and so is her staff. Best place to go for your eye care.

My husband and I have been going here for a few years now for routine eye exams. As eye doctors go, I guess she is okay. But watch your bill. They will add on things without telling you up front, without your approval. Then when you call, they promise a call back and two weeks later you have to show up in their office again to get the answers you requested. Very poor business practice. Very poor customer service.

Literally the best. Drove an hour to do buisness with them because they actually answer the phone when you call 👍 also got fitted for the Nuerolenses! Cant wait to pick them up! Staff is very nice and patient and answer all your questions with honesty. And they also listen to your needs and what your going through and actually have solutions and answers. Cant say enough good things!

I have been to 3 eye clinics in the Gardendale area over the years and have been hugely disappointed. I checked Southern Focus Google reviews and instantly knew this was going to be the eye clinic for me. From the moment I walked in the employees were incredibly nice and prompt to my appointment time. The new eye equipment they had was top notch from any place I previously was used to. Dr. Goldschmidt was very personable and extremely knowledgeable as her 30 years of experience showed. No one pushed extra expenses on me which ALL of the other clinics do these days. I left knowing a strong 5 star review was about to get created. Keep up the good work Dr. Goldschmidt and staff.

I have been seeing Dr MEIGHEN for 25 years, and when I had wet macular-degeneration, I immediately made a medical appointment to see her. I trust her so much and her knowledge if eyes is beyond amazing. She is an asset to your company ! Thanks

Their online system confirmed my appointment but it didn’t notify the practice. So it was if I didn’t have an appointment. Even though the system failed they quickly remedied the situation. I was taken back to the doctor for my exam within 5 minutes. I saw Dr. Goldschmidt and she was amazing! I highly recommend Southern Focus to take care of your ophthalmology needs!
