Keeps all the good surplus gear in back. I know this because of a personal friend. Went to purchase a item way over price would not deal. The words was I know what I got. Been a military surplus collector for years.. very rude will not be back. Really over priced. I try to local but not this way.

EDIT: In response to the owner's reply, I did not expect anything to be "given away" or any kind of "special deal" ... It was pure coincidence running into a fellow living historian, the young man you speak of. You claim to care about keeping the youth interested? You were well aware that this item was not for myself, it was for my 12 year old son, who was with me looking for something for his Vietnam impression because we have an event coming up. The items my son has collected are items that have been passed down or thrifted, because we don't have a lot of money to spend, but he loves the military history and participating in living history events is something we enjoy doing together. We even had a conversation with you about him needing the item for his living history and showed you pictures of his impression. Also, you never once mentioned the stuff in the back was your "personal collection" ... in fact when I joked with you about keeping the good stuff in the back, you told me it was the stuff you just didn't have the room for on the sales floor because the more modern items sell better. When I asked for a price, you were firm because you "know what you have" and were unwilling to negotiate. I was trying to support a local business instead of going on eBay or an overseas supplier, but when I told you the price you quoted was more than I could afford to pay, you were done with me. You didn't ask what price I felt was fair. You were just done, take it or leave it. If that is the way you run your business, so be it. I just felt like it was all about money for you, not about the history or the youth. Also, if this is your personal collection and you care about the history, I would encourage you take as much pride in the items as you think they are worth, display them proudly, and take better care of them that being in a junked up warehouse. That, sir, is how you keep history alive.

Pretty cool store! It's a lot bigger than I remembered. They have a lot to look at. The owner said they always have more inventory coming through so never know what else you might find. Browse their stuff!

This store is a fantastic place to shop. Lots of merchandise and supplies, and the friendliest staff you will ever find. You will find yourself browsing and losing track of time. If they don't have it they can get it for you. Public facilities are clean and readily available.

"you get more with honey than salt" is a joke, right boss Got a BRAND NEW pair of size 13 boots from the PX, worn one single time, $160 on base and this chad tells me he'll give me $25 store credit.. I cant lie, I prefer to keep with the small businesses no matter what state I'm in, but being offered 1/6th the value of a brand new pair is downright dog. I originally just wanted to trade for a pair that'd fit me, didn't care how worn they were just need a good fit. I'll give my 13's to someone in need before I'm scammed out of $130 and I don't mind driving out to Heber for my local tried n true vendors. Even easier making a peer to peer transaction online for surplus. Honey is nice and all, but respect for vets and those currently serving is a whole lot better in a surplus store. In any event I'd never offer anyone, even civilians, $25 for their $160 brand new boots.
