Run down, dirty, smelly and generally unpleasant. My grandpa said you need to spend money to make money. They should just bite the bullet tear it down and start over. The only reason to go here are the chicken strips from the deli.

I go here for my groceries and everything is where you can find it and has plenty of sélection. Prices are reasonable. People are great. They even bag your groceries for you!

Me and my mom went in today to get a few items and when we approached the bakery to try and get fresh donuts we noticed a ciggerete sitting on one of the trays of donuts . We spoke to the bakery staff and showed then and while the young lady was very polite the only thing she did was use a wrapper to remove the ciggerete and move the tray to one shelf lower instead of taking it out of the display completely . There wasn't even an attempt to use a wash rag to wipe the area of the tray that the ciggerete was sitting nor did she remove the donuts it's was touching . I wish I would have took a picture to post but honestly we thought things would be handled better .

Not the newest or fanciest grocery store out there but they do have decent deals considering how crazy prices have gotten. Most of the employees I've seen and interacted with are polite and courteous.

Overall, it's a chain type of store that keeps its small town mom and pop feel.

Definitely recommend if you're just picking up a few missing items. Full on meal planning type shopping...well, be smart and compare pricing, same as everywhere else.

Fast, friendly service. Their meat and general goods prices are top tier but they fall short in the dairy and juices areas compared to their competitors. The deli has a nice selection of cold cuts as well as a fair priced hotbar. Overall a well balanced store with a great regular sales system.

Nice grocery store if you don't like going to Walmart. Lots of parking, and a nice meat and produce selection. I love the 5 for 25 deal on there meats.

**Update was here yesterday and was so pleased how friendly, and helpful the lady working the deli was . I was there roughly around 2-3 pm , and I asked her if she knew how to shave chopped ham , and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I explained that the other hays store in town point center told me they didn't do that ,and to go to Walmart.( either by lack of knowledge or by wanting to get home on time ) being I stopped in on an evening when the deli was 10 minutes from closing. The lady at this store said they know exactly how to shave meat . So I would say it was because she wanted out of work on time . So I'll definitely go to this hays store for lunch meat since they know exactly what they are doing, and are happy to assist there customers. **
